It's sometimes difficult to identify a battery from an image, but we can see the printed letters and numbers on the battery's wrap to form an educated guess.
The "ICR" lettering indicates that it is a lithium cobalt battery. This chemistry has been obsolete for
vaping applications for 3 - 4 years now. These are not safer chemistry, and are not considered high drain (high amp rating).
The recommended battery chemistry now-a-days is either IMR (lithium manganese), or one of the hIMR-Hybrid chemistries (INR - lithium nickle; NCR - nickle cobalt). These are considered a safer chemistry and a high drain battery (high amp rating).

- For those who want to learn the differences between IMR, IMR/hybrid, ICR, and LiPo batteries. What do those numbers and letters on batteries mean? What's an amp rating and why is it more important than the mAh rating when choosing a battery for vaping?
