Better to run them down till they don't work? Then charge? Or better to put them on the charger when not in use?

Supposedly the newer battery technology means they no longer have charge memory and you can charge them whenever you want no matter the charge level. However all batteries are generally good for so many charge cycles before total failure. Hence I use mine till they actually die and only then charge them.

I run my batteries down, before I charge them. Like irwink said, the batteries can only be charged so many times, before they can't be charged anymore. I have five batteries that I use every day on a rotating basis. I have been using the same five batteries for about five months and they all still work just fine.

BTW, I vape a Joye 510.
