Howdy fellow DIYers! I have been on a quest for some time now - and failing miserably at it.

I am seeking a GOOD bubblegum flavoring. So far I've tried Perf Appr, Lorann's bubblegum and neither are remotely close to the taste I'm after. Lorann's seems to be some weird chemical soup, and PA's just tastes like sweet liquid with no actual gum flavor to it, though it faintly smells of it. (mixed both up as stand-a-lone base @ 70PG/30VG as a test..cause if it doesnt taste like gum as a base, adding another flavor to it probably wont help much).

Anyone out there actually locate a good bubblegum flavoring? The specific taste I'd be after would be that of bazooka or even plain bubbleyum. Shoot - just a taste like bubblegum...haha - sense my frustration? ;)

NOTE: One thing I question is the actual bottle of Lorann Bubblegum flavoring I have - is mine bad/spoiled in some way?
For those of you who own the flavoring - does it smell like bubblegum to you? Mine has red liquid in it that smells like chemicals and almost bitter. Not at all like gum in any way - and tastes the same as it smells when added to a base. Do I have a bum-bottle?

I have TPA bubblegum but haven't tested it yet. One thought, though -- you might try adding a little sweetener. There are a few flavors (flavor-dependent, not manufacturer-dependent) that seem lackluster until you add a touch of sweetener, then they come to life. I don't know if bubblegum is one of them, but I'd guess it is.

Zal - PLEASE lemme know how yours comes out. I mixed up the TPA Bubblegum @ 10% and then another bottle @ 20%... neither even had a hint taste of gum at all... just a sweet kinda flavor, but nothing in specific...which is rather upsetting. If I smell the liquid it has a slight gum smell to it, but nothing like a bubblegum kinda smell.

Anyone else have success with TPA's or LA's bubblegum? I saw a recipe here on the DIY section for strawberry bubblegum - I mixed it up identical to the recipe - and as I expected, it doesnt remotely taste like bubblegum... just strawberry chemicals (after 3 day steep).

Try the link above (at the top right) to search ECF at Google. Search for both: bubblegum and "bubble gum." You should be able to find some ideas of where to buy real bubblegum flavor.

Searches were conducted prior to asking - I have a low post count because I actually am one who uses the search tools before asking the 'hive'. Thanks for the guidance.
