I am looking for a smaller unit. I currently vape my SB with 6V and was wondering if I can get a comparable hit with a BB, good battery and a LR atty?

SB and BB will be equivalent with respect to function. (Ok, almost. You cannot stack 3.7v batteries in the BB. You can stack 3.0v batteries -- protected CR2's). The difference is that the larger batteries last longer in the SB.

Yes, I would say a 3.7 battery with a LR atty and the new spring would be equivalent to 5v vaping with a standard atty. But comparing the SB to the BB they are the same as far as the configurations you can do with them.

3.7v battery - both SB and BB
2x3v battery - both SB and BB
2x 3.7v battery - only SB (I think).
PT - both SB (now) and BB
Comes with 510 threads and can get adaptors for all the others - both SB and BB.

So the difference is that the:
SB is larger and takes larger batteries that last longer between recharges.
SB has the recessed button. BB won't roll off the table.
SB has an option for a polished chrome finish. BB can be had in ...pink

I've been using my SB at 6v for over six months and it has never let me down. Awesome!!
I just recently got the LR 510 and LR801 attys for my SB at 3.7v and like it just as well. Now it is awesome and gives me more choices depending upon my mood.

I finally broke down and got the BB PT with the Enercell for 5v or 6v. I also love this experience. The 3v setting just doesn't fire up a LR Atty so I was forced ~ forced mind you~ to order the regular BB for the 3.7 LR experience. OMG when will it ever end?

What??? What's that? AltSmoke is coming out with an Omega SB and a real Silver Bullet? What.... NoNO! Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Thanks!

Depends on the atty you're using a 6v and the LR atty you use.

There are currently at least 12 different 510 attys alone! I have 6 of them and should get number 7 tomorrow.

The short answer is 'comparable' YES, 'identical' NO. You may well find you like a particular LR atty at 3.7 BETTER than your current atty at 6v.

There is also a difference in LR Attys, the ones that first came out where 1.5 ohm ond they where good I now have some that are 1.7 ohm and like them even better. for some reason I actually am getting more pure vapor using my SB with the LR than I am at 6V. I really like the LR i THINK ITS A SWEET SPOT At 3.7 @ 1.7 ohm and think many will like this combo but as for me the LR's are kick ... and im digging them.
But the 18650 in the SB with the LR Atty and one in each hand is BEST OF ALL

My head is spinning!!! I want a vape just like I get from a Pure Smoker V2 (when it works) with a Pure Smoker 510 on it from a BB. What set-up do I need to use (or start with)??

What voltage is the V2 at (yes, I know, 0v half the time :) but what about when the button works)?
and what resistance is a PS 510?

Shoot I shouldnt have posted that on this thread sorry, I will follow up though with this I have two silver Bullets that are my main mods, I have one set up with 2 Tenergy 3v Batts with an HV Atty, this rules IN MY HONEST OPINION. My second Silver Bullet I have set up with 2 x 3.7 Batts with a special HV Atty for 7v vaping, this is also banging Good though I want to use 2 x 18650 for the 7v. I also switch the Batts and Attys and put an AW High drain 18650 in my one SB with an 510-LR Atty on it, this is just super and I put a regular trust fire 18650 in the other SB with an 801- LR Atty with dripping tips on both and the flavor when using these cobos with the LR's is awsome, I have also found that I am flooding my LR's on purpose and keeping them very wet and havent lost on yet,
Chad the Tube ???

Altsmoke doesnt recomend it because they want to protect themselves and thats smart, however the new Tenergy 3v 750 mAh yellow and the blue 900mAh are protected so they wont discharge on us. I also found that AW makes some kick .... Batts as well but ya stacking 2 protected i will say protected again for 6V is best, but get a HV Atty for this also and grab some of Altsmokes new LR''s for 3.7 Vaping this kicks total .... too

I'm using 2 of the green protected 3v batts in my BB. A regular 510 at 2.2ohm trips the pcb but 901s (3.1ohm) and KR808D cartos (2.9 - 3.1 ohm) work just great! Currently I'm into using the cartos and occassional dripping with the 901s. Who knew about cartos? wow, last a half a day, easily refillable (plunger method), and you get FIVE of them for the price of a 901! Seems that it's the "thicker" juices that are better suited for the cartos and the "thinner" more sharply flavored juices better suited for dripping.

Get some LR 510 attys and 14500 batts from AltSmoke. Should be pretty close. You might even like it better (less chance of the burnt taste) :)

When I use the extended tube and the green protected 3v batterys some of my regular attys trip the pcb but others do not and work fine. 2.5's and up, washer and no washer. Not complaining, out of 10 regular attys only 2 trip it. Even better I haven't fried any yet...oops, shouldn't have said that. Only problem I have now is I have become used to the 3.7 LR attys and 6v vapes. When I go to the regular atty on 3.7 I vape and look at it wondering if its working. Spoiled me.
