BCC Mega Coils Burning Out Very Fast

I would appreciate some advice here. I recently got a BCC Mega clearomizer from a friend and I love it...for about a day or two. I'm using the 1.8 ohm heads and a Vision Spinner variable voltage battery (the big ... one, 1300 I believe). The issue I'm having is that the coils seem to be burning out at an alarming rate. I just ordered a 5 pack of the 1.8s and I've gone through two in 3 days. I'm running at the lowest battery setting (3.3V) but they still seem to be dying really fast. It hits great but deteriorates quickly and by the end of the second day I'm getting dry hits and trying to clean them out doesn't seem to help. Could it be my juice? My friend gave me a couple bottles but I have no idea what the PG/VG ratio is because it's not listed on the bottle. The company is Lotus for the juice, if that helps. Getting frustrated here!

All coils need to be cleaned--they get gunk buildup, especially with sweet and dark juices. I soak mine in PGA (cheap vodka or denture/retainer cleaning solution is good too).

Having said that, a 5-pack in three days seems excessive.

Make sure you get genuine iSmoka coils and maybe try higher resistance, like 2.2Ω:

To clean the coils you have to open them up and dry burn them.
