issues with BCC MEGA

Just got a Vape Only BCC Mega 3.5 ML tank [edit]. After the first fill and priming the wick I immediately tasted a distinct burning. I assumed this was due to the seal on the atomizer head being too tight. I loosened it, but not too much. I took a draw and immediately had a juice in my mouth. It seems that there is no in-between with this thing. Either it is too tight and burns the wick, or it is way too loose and floods the center with juice. From what I understand these tanks should not have leaking issues. I also ordered e-liquid from this site and was thoroughly disappointed. I got the cake supreme flavor, and it smells wonderful. Unfortunately it does not taste wonderful. It has a certain chemical quality to the taste and doesn't tast like "cake batter" (as marketed). I submitted a ticket with to the support link on the site but have had no reply/ Anyone else have any issues with this tank [edit] ? [edit] Is it possible that I got a chinese reproduction of the Vape Only BCC Mega? Thoughts?

The vapeonly bcc is made in China and just like everything else made there the QC leaves a lot to be desired.
Some folks have better luck removing one strand of wick. Mine worked great right outa the box until I broke it.
Some e liquids benefit from steeping some don't, delivery device and volts/watts used will effect taste.
Taste is very subjective what one person thinks is the best flavor ever can be another persons definition of worst flavor ever.

Well after a lengthy back-and-forth with "customer service" I have determined that GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more are crooked as hell. They leave their customers with faulty equipment and no support system from which to rectify the issue. After informing them that I was extremely disappointed with the product and the support from the company and that I would not be a returning customer and my business would be taken elsewhere due to the lack of help and support, the service rep's reply was "Good luck with other companies" BOYCOTT GOTVAPES!!
 
I've been vaping for 3 years. All cartos seems to have the same issue.

Here's a mod that usually works for me.

Take the clear rubber grommet cap on the inside ...off , holding it in your hands.

Using scissors or a blade, notch a small "v" on each side of the bottom edge where it will meet up with and fit over the bottom-seated wicks.

If you cut too much off, no worries, just turn the cap so the V pinches the wick a little.
The goal is to modify the cap to allow a little more juice through, without flooding.

As mentioned, China and quality are a factor, but I've found this carto to be the easiest to work with. The mod takes 2 mins or less.

Note:
You will notice the cap will need to be reseated every 2-3 refills, as it spins a little each time you screw the assy on and off.

I read your post & said "finally someone with a brain" It totally sucks that there's some stuff that you can't buy or find anywhere else, but Gotvapes. I've been vaping 4yrs & Gotvapes has made me feel more like I Gotraped on several occasions over the years. I periodically order from them in hopes that their customer service would be better. Of course there's been no such luck. They owe me 2 cartomizers that I ordered & never received. After a few tickets back & forth, I was told it would be sent out asap, well that was last Dec. I never got an email to confirm, a package in the mail, nothing. Only place I can buy a carto, have it work perfectly, order more & it never works again. I bought a 5pc box of the Phoenix cartos. Out a box of 5, only 2 worked. When will these vendors learn.. To be the best, you have to treat your customers the best. The way you would like to be treated, if the shoe was on the other foot. I am so happy to see a lot more of GV's products are being sold elsewhere, might have to wait a minute, but eventually another vendor will sell it. I understand completely, that every business will run into problems or issues with products or service at some point in time, but those problems or issues should be solved no matter the cost. Not ignored, costing the customer time, money & the loss of respect for the vendor. Boycott ? SMH might work, then again with so many GV groupies around, its no telling...
