So ive noticed with a bvc the draw is less restricted then with a bdc. Which leads me to ask the question..... What am I losing running a bvc instead of a bdc?
Biggest thing is a BVC is a single coil if I'm not mistaken, it sits vertically, hence the v in bvc, but it's supposed to be comparable to the flavor and vapor from a dual coil - d in bdc. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but I think that's a dumbed down explanation of it.
Ya, the bvc is a single and the bdc is a dual coil. I'm sure it's probably more of a preference thing, but I have noticed most people seem to reccomend the bvc's.
BDCs are silica and polyfill, and while the design is a little complicated they work well assuming you get a good batch of coils (a complicated design plus infamous quality control can mean a lot of bad coils).
BVCs are fiberglass/ceramic paper wrapped in cotton, and are generally considered to have better flavor and stand up to thicker eliquids better. I can't recommend them due to the health issues involved with their filler material, as there's every reason to believe they can cause minute, but permanent damage over time.
