Suggest you head on over to the CASAA website and check out the information on vaping they have there. If you're going to talk about the dangers of vaping, you might want to educate yourself about it. Or continue to talk crap. Your choice.

Oh please show me this fabled hard evidence that proves e cigs are safe!
E cigs are not a harmless alternative to smoking. But rather a reduced harm alternative, meaning there is still some risk involved. No one in there right mind would say e cigs are a harmless thing to use.

vaping is probably safer than smoking, nothing in the average vape isn't found in some FDA approved items, but we don't know for sure, it's theoretically safer . So HappyDave has a point. I could see a lot of instances where a person has wrecked lungs with advanced COPD and the more prudent course of action would be to try smokeless tobacco or NRT over inhaling vegetable glycerine.

HappyDave has a point, but his point is pointless. I have NEVER heard ANYONE say that vaping is safe. Only that it is orders of magnitude safer than cigarettes. How safe it really is can be debated and needs to be studied. After all these years, we still don't have a lot of information on the effects of nicotine. All of the studies have been done with smokers. It was believed that nicotine was the cause of the cardiovascular damage, but even that hasn't been proven. In fact, there is mounting evidence that the nicotine isn't the cause of the heart disease that afflicts smokers.

No it is not safe, neither is a cup of coffee or a beer. What people need to understand is that it isn't the public health nightmare they are making it out to be.

i was walking around Las Vegas Blvd. on the strip and saw a "smoking everywhere" kiosk. on the side of it in huge letters i could read from like 100 yards away it said "safe cigarette". i figured there was more to it, so i got about 10 feet away from it and realized that it just said "safe cigarette".
its things like this that need to stop.

the guy from the smoking everywhere kiosk in this ABC story says its harmless. (no bad chemicals) http://youtu.be/U81x8t2iMhw?t=16s

We all know the media twist and sensationalizes everthing. Relying on the sheep to panic. If you own a gun you know what I mean. Or the missing plane nonsense, if it went off radar ot crashed into the sea end of story. But the media took it and ran with the theories it landed somewhere or whatnot.

I know that I've given up my smoking addiction for a vaping one but I'm already consuming way less nicotine that I did when I was smoking and ALL of the other chemicals that I used to inhale as a combustible when I did smoke cigarettes. I don't care if you call it a smoking cessation product or a nicotine 'delivery' system. All I know is I no longer smoke cigarettes and based on that fact alone, I am healthier. I no longer have a smoker's cough, blood pressure is down and I have way more energy. It's really quite sad that big pharma wants to shut it down as they make more money off of us with their smoking cessation devices that usually don't work anyways. Ditto for the government who would rather us smoke to rape us in 'sin' taxes although by not smoking, we are saving enormous amounts on health care costs. Why can't I decide whether I want to quit smoking and start vaping instead? The nicotine isn't going to kill me. Preventing disease is supposed to be what it's all about and getting me to quit smoking cigarettes. IF I do, who (other than me) should really care how I do it?
