BE112 dryburn cleaning?

Anybody performed the dryburn cleaning method with be112's successfully?
i do dryburn my 801 atties and i see the coil glowing orange when it get dry, but i can't see the glowing when i try to dryburn a be122 atty.
Is be112's coil covered with an additional wick fiber so i can't see the glowing? or maybe their coil resistance is too high to glow with a 3.7V battery? i use an ego battery...

I've done a dry burn on a BE112 with my Protege @ 3.7

Can't remember if I saw it glow or not. The BE112s do have a pretty big wick though. I did get that burnt crud smell like all other attys on a dry burn however.

ok, i tried again and finally i managed to get the coil glowing orange.
I had to make a 40 sec activation to see the orange glow, then i let it stay orange for few seconds, now it works fine again.
