How are they compared to the Joye's or SLBs?

I really like the BE112s and I want to give the 510s a shot too.

Anyone know what kind of resistance they have?

Also..... I was wondering what the washers in some of the 901 and 510 attys are for? Are they to add extra resistance? My 510s with washers measure 3.1 ohm and the ones without are 2.3-2.4.

I would think the washers wouldn't be what sets the resistance, the thickness and composition of the coil should be it... then again you probably know more about electronics than me seeing as you know how to measure resistance...

The ones without are probably Joyes, which have less resistance, usually. They also run, unlike their clones, on 3.1v, which makes compatibility between the Joye 510 and its clones somewhat limited.

Interesting... I guess my "510" wasn't a real Joye 510 after all... The atomizers from that kit measure just over 3 ohms.

I really like the ones without the washers. They're perfect for dripping but they heat up too quick on my V2.

I bet they would be perfect on my Protege though. At 2.3 ohms and a fully charged 14500 I'd be getting close to 8 watts.

I posted some pics of the Joye, SLB, and BE 510 atties and resistance measurements here.

On stock or 3.7 batts I use the joyes. At 5v I prefer, first, the BE, secondly, the SLB. I only use HV atties for 6v or 7.2v. And they are all good on the DBSB, IMHO. YMMV

I agree. I got a lot of vapor from the SLBs on a standard 510 batt, but not a lot of throat hit.

I just tried an SLB 510 on my V2 though and its working pretty good. I thought I liked the Bauways better, but those things are hotter than a pistol after a couple hits.
