Awesome album Jmpulius sir. I've been able to get almost every album on vynil (still missing Spider's Lullaby, Time, and Into the Unknown).... Have you ever gotten to see him live? The guy is amazing.

I wish. Along with about 500 other bands that I would've loved to see live. Metal and non-Metal. Unfortunately, claustrophobia keeps me away from large groups of tightly packed sweaty people.

Understand Jmpublius sir. He is actually releasing a live DVD from both Mercyful Fate and King Diamond this year at some point... He's still recovering from triple bypass surgery... He finally had to give up smoking....

I'm sorry, I fail to understand this odd sensitivity/objection to a common form of consumer identification. Perhaps you don't like the B Company's name? Well, there's nothing I can do about that. Their company, their name. (I agree that the substitution of "booger" is kind of obnoxious, and I never do it, even though analog finds it funny -- must be a guy thing, kinda like fart jokes.)

Jayvap is a devout Blooger whose post appears to be not only factually incorrect but darn-near impossible, based on the live-inventory system.

Thankfully, all it really did was highlight what fantastic, up-front and non-shady service and CS V4L has, what with super-fast shipping, immediate account credits and/or super-generous substitutes etc.

In light of the context (the use of the labels “punk” and “troll” immediately before calling the poster a Blooger), it is reasonable to think that many would interpret this as using the term Blooger with a disparaging implication.

The term Blooger in general is terrific, as is V4Ler. As you said, it's the context that is important, and I think that makes all the difference in how others react to the use of the term.

I can understand that it would not be an easy task to defend a “Booger” over on the riV4L sub-forum.

I wanted to post something there myself, just to clarify a couple of inaccurate statements, but was concerned I’d be considered just another “punk”. I'll just post them here for my own amusement.

Below is a link to a post commenting about wilydodger, someone who has a total of 9 posts, not one of them in the Bloog sub-forum. They called him “yet another Blooger”.

If you are referring to my saying that it was inaccurate to call wilydodger a Blooger, I have already said I felt it would have been accurate to call him a Blooger and a V4Ler. The omission (even unintentionally) of V4Ler, especially in that context, seemed inaccurate to me, and still does.

Here is my response to your post in the Bloog sub-forum, which I am quoting to emphasize that most of us are Bloogers and V4Lers and it's all good.

I do find it truly confusing about the inconsistency with the editing notification. You edited your post here just a few minutes later and it is noted. That is what happens with most of my edits unless I edit something within a minute or two of posting. So as I said in my response to Keelalagirl's nice response to my question (the first to respond), I don't know how it works when you edit a thread you started.

And I agree, it isn't necessary for either of us to address every error or omission. And you are right, Analog is great, and so is Keelalagirl, Gardner, Morandir, Starsong, Clover, etc........ Most of us are Bloogers and V4Lers and it's all good.
