So I just verified my paypal account and I'm wondering how long it will take for my account on ECF to become verified so I can view the classifieds

Took around 24 hours for me I think. I don't remember getting an email or PM or anything when it happened. Just all of a sudden, the classies started showing up in my new posts search.
Mine was done over the weekend and I got PMs. I did mine with my PayPal account.
it will also show up under your avatar and handle as soon as it is done...mine took a day or so using paypal or my ebay rating...not sure which I used...
I did mine with my paypal on saturday and my paypal account confirms that I'm verified but I still haven't become verified on here.

It is a manual process that relies on one of our admins, j0ker, confirming all the details then changing your forum status. There is a queue, and if he is off for a day, there is a longer wait.
Is there a way to become verified without having to give out account numbers? Paypal has my CC number and information, but they wanted access to my bank accounts to become verified. I balked at that. Personal information security seems more important to me than being verified at this point. Call me too picky, but I'm dubious about giving out too much information.

I used the NetIDMe way as I only have a cc attached to my pp acct and no ebay acct.
