Hi Cyclin, I've tried to answer your questions the best I could (in red below)...hope it helps some and I am sure Kathy will be along to answer anything I may have missed! :)

Good afternoon Bedazzlers!

So we just gave a Trippy to my wife's best friend as her Christmas present, and the girls here mentioned wishing they had "glitter tanks." Being the guy I am there was no way I could keep the words "Well they do have Bedazzled tanks" from slipping from my lips.

They both screamed. Seriously lol

So now I need at least two, and I was hoping I could get some help. Whats the most up to date info on these tanks?Kathy will be having a new sale this comming week, so just check back and she will tell us all in advance when it will be. Where can I see what is available now? How can I order? When Kathy (Bedazzle) posts the pics of the tubes, you pm her with your choices and she will reply back with how to pay and etc.

Also, will I need to order tank caps separately? Yes, you have to request the caps separately My wife has some awesome pink tank caps we had custom made, which fit the standard DCTank cap tube size(All Bedazzle tubes are 16 mm ID, so the Dual Coil caps will probably not work???). She may like to use those, but for her friend we'll need a whole new tank as her PV setup (MVP+Carto Tank+Trippy) was stolen this week by her evil stepmother. And yes it really was her evil stepmother lol, she hasn't admitted to it but the evidence is pretty prevalent

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help :)

Oh another question while I'm here. I think I want one for me now too lol

Do you make your designer tubes to replace iHybrid quartz tubes? The size is the same as a Zen Standard tube if that helps. :)

Cyclin, I believe she can make the iHybrid tubes with the enamel transfers, biut she will have to answer that herself, to be sure. :)

hey everyone is over here now and not talking a unique`s thread..hello all hope everyone had great christmas and hope everyone has a great new year

Hi ingline and hope you also had a great Christmas and that your New Year will be a wonderful one!! Very nice pics of your new Bedazzle's too!! ;)

I saw a lot in the last sale I wanted but I also wanted my family to have a good Christmas too. You can guess which want prevailed......LOL
I have been pretty sick this past week and missed some work so we'll see for the next sale. I maybe able to pinch enough pennies to get one. Me and my M.I.L. Gave away two tanks(one each) to my son and his future wife at Christmas. I made the mistake of leaving one of the Bedazzle tubes on mine and to make it fair I got another one and put on the other tank my M.I.L. gave my son's future wife. I felt good about it. I actually don't use carto tanks any more but they was so nice to have. I guess I need to quit collecting so much stuff..........LOL

Bukket5 thanks for sharing. Sounds really neat to me. An Island, helicopter, camps and Alaska! What more could you ask for.
Two questions. How far is the nearest grocery store and when do you have 23 hours of day light?

I'm planning on having a sale this coming week. All Bedazzle designer tubes will be on sale from 17.00 to 20.00 marked down to 12.00 to 15.00 each!
Designer tubes will include JB Lava, Unique, regular and smallest size tanks.

Bedazzle

Yay! I need some more Bedazzle tubes and a sale is awesome :) I'll be sure to set my alarm. Have you set a day yet?

Anchorage is now like any other city. We have everything you can think of available. Except a really good department store. We do have a Nordstroms but I don't care for the stuff they carry anymore. I would love to have a Dillard's. There is now about 400,000 people in the area around us. Today we have 5 hours and 36 minutes of daylight! Most of the summer (June, July, August) we'll have 19-21 hours of daylight a lot of dusk and maybe an hour of darkness. On the longest days we'll have an hour or 2 of dusk.

Where my husband is at they have all their meals provided for them. They get really good food, too. It's like a large buffet everyday. A lot of people put on a bunch of weight since there are so many dessert choices. He also is a lot further North so he gets very little daylight in the winter and it stays light all the time in the summer.

The coolest thing was when he was working on the island Polar Bears would come on it a lot. They had alarms that would go off so everyone could get inside. They would use air horns to scare them off. They also got a lot of seals and the seals would always follow the boat, actually I think it is called a skiff. At the camps they have people that just watch for polar bears and there are a lot of times when the roads are closed due to wildlife. Dave says the worst part about driving this time of year is that the Arctic Fox will get on the road and they just blend in since they are the same color.

The people who live in places like Barrow and Nome have to pay a lot to have everything shipped in. There is usually a small general store that carries things at a very high price. Costco and Sam's Club both do shipping to the Bush so that's how most people get their supplies.

Alaska is so large that there are a lot of places that I have no idea about. My grandparents were colonists of the Matanuska Valley in 1935. A lottery was drawn to see who could go and one family got sick the day before they were leaving and they gave their place to my grandfather. He went home and told grandma that she had one day to pack up the house and 5 children to leave for the middle of nowhere. My dad was 1 year old. When they arrived everyone lived in tents. Everyone worked together building a house for each family before winter. Each family was given 40 acres with certain rules that had to be followed. My grandmother had one of the most interesting lives that I have ever heard of... she was such an amazing woman.

It has been a few years. Duck, pheasant, partridge and grouse were my game,. Never hunted a four legged one but always wanted too. WOW nice job on that one!! Looks like about 170 to 190 lbs? Beautiful rack.

I believe anyone seeing or experiencing this is also sharing you emotion.

Thank you. The JB is okay, the carto is okay, but the THICK glass didn't make it. Luckily, I had a back up with me when the hummingbird flew. I never let my hummingbird fly, so it hadn't practiced landing well, and landed badly to_weep_bitterly.gif

I am 99% bummed. Can you suggest another that would fit the JB? I kind of feel like we built it together, I wouldn't even buy it until I had your input on whether that JB would go with the hummingbird, and I bought them "together". I keep my honey flue in it. weeping_smiley.gif
