It got down to around 28 degrees here this morning. Our high is only going to be around 40 and the wind chill is around 30 degrees. But this weekend, they're calling for highs in the 80's!!! Only in Florida can you get (or about get) frostbite and a sun burn all in one week!! Good grief!! LOL

My heat went out on Sunday, nice, just in time for the cold. Got it fixed finally yesterday afternoon though. Today, my microwave decides it time to give up the ghost and died on me. Really?!?! If it's not one thing, it's 10 more around here.......or it seems that way here lately!! :(

So, I had my worst drive into work EVER this morning! US23 was pure ice & my car couldn't go over 30mph without wanting to slide everywhere. I am dreading the drive home, when there will be alot more traffic then at 6am. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Sandy you be careful and leave early if you need to...

Ripple, I live in a small town & just have to take the highway to another small town 35 miles away for work. I made it home tho & tho the secondary roads are still terrible, the highway was 90% better, thankfully!

It must have been all the good thoughts from my friends that helped, huh? ;) Thank you all for that!! No school here again tomorrow, for the 4th day in a row....Tyler sure is loving this.

Glad to hear you made it home, Sandy, safe and sound. Hoping the rest of the week is smooth sailing for you too. I can't imagine what you have to go through driving in snow and ice. I've did it when we've gone snow skiing, up windy mountains, and the worst was in a horrible white out storm. Took me 6 hours to go 25 miles to the grocery store. Of course, it would not been so bad had the little dolly at the resort given me the RIGHT directions and warned me of the impending storm.

Instead of saying, go out the main gate and take the SECOND road to the right. She said take the first road on the right. My first time in West Virginia and how was I to know that the first road I came to was actually an old logging road that hadn't been paved long and that one didn't count. Geesh!! Talk about treacherous!!! Some of the curves were so tight and there was sheer drop off on the outside edge. There were times when I couldn't see past my windshield wipers because of the blizzard!

As hot as it gets down here, it doesn't wreck you up on the side of any mountain. LOL I've never been so terrified in my life.

Tell Tyler congrats on no school. :)

Tammy, I will never forget you were my first..... Almost 2 years later and I still love you....
You, Iowa and Sandy.....
Do you guys also remember how I hated making just plain glass tubes? Kept telling everyone I'm not interested in making them. Go away. Lol
Back then it was just me and Phiniac making glass tanks. I still have fun and I still consider what I do a hobby. Gets me out of bed each day and I feel like I have a real job. Plus not having to do 20 something trade shows a years is another big bonus for me. Now I get to stay home in my p.j.s if I want and have some extra $ to play with too boot.
Bert and I are even renewing our passports for a possible trip to the UK for a vape meet. We both need it.

On another note, I just went back to the first page of this thread. I'd forgotten that I was your first customer, Kathy. LOL Been loving/adoring/using your awesome tanks for almost 2 years now. We'll have our 2 year anniversary in May. :) How cool is that?!?!?!

Well, you should, I have mentioned on vapepit and Aussievapers about your excellent work -- my in-laws have been to both and they went to Australia 2 more times, just sayin'........:thumb:

That is awesome, Kathy, I really hope you and Bert do go! You both deserve it!!

I'm so grateful that not only did you decide to start making these fabulous tubes but that you're still going strong after almost 2 years. I was so excited when I saw your tubes, not only were they glass but decorated too!! You have continued to out do yourself with these, to me, they are just as important in making a mod/tank the very best. :)

I can't thank you enough for all you've done and continue to do!!! Love you too sweet lady!!!

Australia is a 24 hour plane ride. I went to Thailand once and I'd never fly that far away again unless someone paid me... LOL
On the way back I had to sit in between to BIG guys... Never again..
