Tammy, is it in your house? God love you! Praying for you. This has got to be stressful!This is a picture of my backyard after one of the hurricanes that hit close to us. I have a creek that runs behind my house, it's about 100ft off my back patio. This storm dumped about a quarter of what they're telling us to expect with this storm. We do the rain but it'd be nice if it were stretched out a bit.
My sidewalk had minnows swimming around on it!
Yes, unfortunately this was my yard a couple of years ago and this morning, it's just about the same with all the rain this Tropical storm is dumping on us. Couldn't sleep much last night due to the high winds and driving rain hitting the house. This morning, I'm going from window to window checking and hoping.
We've got tornado warnings up, and Sandy, right now your inlaws neck of the woods is getting really bad. This storm isn't moving either, sitting out there in the gulf and will continue to pound us for a couple of days.

Likewise; thoughts and prayers are with my family here. My grandmother used to tell me that no matter how bad you think things are in your life, there's folks out there suffering more than you. We've got vapemail coming to us today, Sandy......YAY!! I live at the end of a dirt road and my mailbox is about 1/2 out on the hard road. If I have to take the jon boat down the road, I WILL get to my mailbox today.
Stay safe Tammy, thinking about you and hoping this storm ends soon.

Hope you're okay and just having a check up.
So far we've maintained power, the winds are about like having a good thunderstorm, not too bad. It's raining buckets though and is expected to continue. A tornado just hit in Ocala, missed my brother's house by 100 yards, his neighbors weren't so lucky. Parts of their roofs are scattered in my brother's field.
Randy just called me, said FOX news is in front of his gate and he's out there checking on his neighbors.LOL Tammy!!

Has anyone seen or heard from RIMP? Her neck of the woods has been taking a severe beating, worse than mine I'm afraid. She's been on my heart and in my prayers today.
I haven't seen her in a few days. I hope everything is ok with her. Times like this make me glad I'm far from the coast even if it is 104 here today.

Tammy, I know RIMP was logged in over at the other place for a few earlier, but didn't see her post. I sure hope she is okay too!!!!
I went to the doctor today because of the severe leg cramps I have been having at night...lucky to sleep 3 to 4 hrs. before they hit....and then keep comming back, so I can't sleep.
Doc gave me some muscle relaxers tho....bet I sleep tonight...LOL!!

We had a nasty storm this afternoon, winds to 60+ and buckets of rain that lasted about 20 minutes! Lots of bad lightning every few seconds, a little hail! We were lucky this time, no damage! I guess that marks our 40th wedding anniversary w/hotdogs for supper! Just finished up work for today, will check in tomorrow! Stay safe Bedazzled peeps!

The flowered tubes are freakin incredible ..............now if i could get a Zen tank with a hello Kitty on it i would be so all set LOL ....ok yeah i say that now like i might stop!
