Hey there - been lurking here a while - first post...
I have the Hcigar Stingray (brass) - it is not a bad little mod at all. It is my 1st magnetic switch mech mod and I'm still getting used to it. I have 5 mechanical mods total - 4 clones and 1 not - 1 would rate the Stingray as 'tied for 2nd' amongst my clones. My favorite is the copper Caravela 'replica' (it's not really a clone - it has no branding/logos/fake serial/etc - it's somewhat of an original...unique). To my eyes and hands, this mod is built almost as well as any non-clone/real-deal mechanical out there! It's hits very, very well and hard! Voltage drop is almost non-existent. If you Google 'copper Caravela replica', you'll see a few YouTube reviews at the top of the results. If I were going to just have one mech - and couldn't or didn't want to buy a non-clone - this would be it - but that's definitely just me.
I digress - back to the Stingray - it's a great looking piece, well built and I LOVE the matching drip tip! The only, single issue I have with it is that (at least on mine), the bottom firing switch assembly does not tighten down enough for my liking - meaning it unscrews a little too easily - so, every once in a while when I'm bringing down the locking ring, I accidentally start to unscrew to whole assembly. Not a big at all. Other than that, I am really happy with it! I'm just waiting now for the brass to lose it's shine - I prefer that 'tarnished', matte brass look!
