I've been enjoying the eGo Twist for some time now but had a lot of trouble finding a delivery system that would suit.
Well, finally ordered a dual coil 1.8ohm carto tank from smoketek and now I'm lucky to get 50min out of a 1100mAh battery!

The draw is so nice and the juice just tastes wonderful but guess I'll have to try a 2.5 ohm now.

Is this normal performance for a LR carto?

Hi! It is the dual coil. The Twist doesn't have enough power to get the full effect. Remember, you're using two 1.8 coils at the same time. You'll run into a similar problem with a 2.5Ω on a Twist. While YMMV...it won't that much. Try a single coil 2.0Ω or lower on the Twist and see what you think.

2.0 is usually standard resistance so yeah probably.I dont like dual coils at all, partly because I like a cooler vape and because I always get a burnt taste to my juices even at lower voltage.

Dual coil really shines for people using 5 volts and above who like a warmer fuller vape

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah, gotta try everything I guess.
My problem is the thick vg juice I use and regular resistance ( around 2 ohm) carto tanks don't hold up.
I Like the 2 or 3 hole punched smoktek 1.5 ohm LRs DC Cartos but will try the standard resistance and see how that goes.
However, I'm going to grab a bolt and see what life I get from a 18500 bat.

Thick juices are such a pain to vape at times.
