Greetings, everyone!

Just thought I'd give a short introduction. My name is Tina and I was a social smoker (until I started vaping in November). My husband smokes almost a pack a day of cigarettes. He hasn't given vaping much of a chance, but is starting tonight. He's got a few cigarettes left, though. Anyhow, I started out with a V2 notebook cig on the recommendation of a friend. We both wanted to start with something that looked and felt like a cigarette, so we felt an 808 would be best. About a year or so ago, my husband tried an old three piece set up with the Volt name on it. It didn't look anything like Smokeless Image's Volt, though (as that's an 808, two piece set up). A cousin had sold it to us and it was really crappy for lack of a better word. Giving that it had the Volt name on it, I didn't even want to order SI's Volt. I've since learned from my mistakes, as I've seen some great reviews on the Smokeless Image Volt. As soon as I get paid, I'm ordering one for myself! I love how they have more flavor choices, more battery colors, and are less expensive than V2!

Today, I received my first e-juice order from Liberty Flights. I ordered Cappuccino and Caramel. I really like the Cappuccino! It has a nice strong flavor to it! The Caramel, not so much, but it still tastes good!

I look forward to participating here and learning more about vaping!

Hello, steenface! :)

I've watched several reviews of SI's Volt on Youtube, especially by user SteelJan. The prices seem reasonable, especially compared to the V2. They also have a wider variety of flavors and battery colors. I can't wait to get a pink and a purple battery! I haven't looked at too many KR808's, though. Like I said, I got the V2, for my husband, on the recommendation of a friend. If you're curious, they have a whole thread here on ECF dedicated to SI's Volt and other products! It's here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/187974-official-smokelessimage-com-thread.html. I admit, I haven't read all the pages, but there are some great Youtube reviews posted there! :)

Happy vaping! :D

Well... shoot. Just in doing a quick look around, both the forum and their website, I'm convinced. Husband will take my current setup. Now, if they would just get the Pro start kit back in stock! Totally stalking the site now.

Thanks, Tina! :D

I started at V2 myself in July. I've since moved to Volt batteries among others. The differences I've noticed between V2 and Volt batts are:

- Volt batteries are regulated meaning they give the same voltage from beginning to end. A v2 battery starts off at a higher voltage than drops as the charge is used up.
-I don't know why this is but V2 autos are sensitive to noise or movement. Mine would fire in the wind or just setting in my purse. My Volts only respond to me taking a drag.
-SI has better colors and prices (about half of what V2 charges per battery)
-SI offers sealed auto batteries now. They don't have a hole in the center post for juice to leak into and are less likely to be damaged by a juice leak. Other unsealed 808 autos can easily be destroyed in the case of a juice leak. (I've had some experience with the durability of the sealed autos see this post- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...image-com-thread-post4575225.html#post4575225)

I think you'll be very happy with Smokeless Image. I certainly have been. :vapor:

Edit- One more thing. The color on the Volts isn't like paint and doesn't scratch off. It's like a satiny coating of some kind - very durable.

Thanks, Psyche! Do you think the automatic batteries are better on the Volt than the V2? I don't care for V2's automatic as it seems I have to take a larger hit than with their manuals. I was thinking of getting manuals from Volt because I'm afraid of this happening.

Absolutely better, in my opinion. Like I said, my V2 auto acted overly sensitive and I actually had to have it replaced after about a month because it stopped working properly all together. My Volts have been very reliable and consistent so far. No primer puffs necessary to get them working. I only have the Volt autos so I can't compare them to their manuals, but it seems a lot of the folks on SI's thread prefer the autos over their manuals. You could always hedge your bets and get one of each if you're getting a starter kit.

Thank you, Psyche! I like the idea of an automatic, as I really don't want to have to press a button every time I take a hit! I appreciate your input! :D
