Oh gosh! My freelancing days are over since I started doing it professionally 10 years ago! I get lots of offers but after a week of code I like to switch off at the weekends!

Yes, I got the strawberry menthol and I'm giving vapetto another go right now. Seems to be a technique behind it. Slow draw then hold it a little while and the strawberry appears.

I've not tried the cv cappuccino - not sure I'd like it as every coffee I've tried has been sickly. But that's just me! I prefer the real thing in either my pump espresso or French press.

What kind of things do you paint?
Oh that's OK :) - thought you meant you had your own business with web developing ..did freelance.
I tend to work every day, so weekends are no different really ..happy though!

There's something about the Strawberry Vapetto ..it's sort of quiet but very interesting!
I like both the Vapetto's and wish they did more.

With the Caramel Cappuccino, I mix it with part Lews Brew - that way it's more coffee than anything else. Authentic taste compared to most others.
CV do a small sample type pack if you wanted to try a few others.
I'm looking forward to messing around with the concentrates!

I paint still life - based on the 17thc old masters (which have long fascinated me) but with a modern edge in that they have plain backgrounds. I've got my solo exhibition later this year and I'm way behind with the work! It's not like me, and although to a tight schedule, I do usually keep up, but for some reason I seem to be finding concentrating hard these past few months.
I have wondered if giving up cigarettes has anything to do with it ..can't be nicotine, but perhaps some other aspect. Just a thought - not that I intend to start smoking again of course!
Still, I'll keep plodding on.

Tried the vapetto on cotton wick this morning - that is a previously dry burned coil, removed silica wicks and inserted cotton wool. Replaced flavour wicks with cotton wool too. Still too much cornet but a bit better! But that 3 weeks cured my taste buds!

Do you have a link to your website? Would be nice to see your paintings.

Bad back again today so looks like a trip to the pharmacy at some point. Given up on doctors totally!

I think perhaps you'll like that better when you add a bit more strawberry to it :)
I think CV ones are worth 'saving' if not quite right because they seem to be excellent quality.

I sent you the link by PM :)

Have you tried a chiropractor for your back? If you find a good one, they can do some excellent work. We've had one for a trapped nerve (husband), and disc trouble (eldest son).

I got the link and it works and I can access it on my iphone - I have seen a lot lot worse believe me! There are a lot of so called modern sites which have what I call a 'door slam' - in other words "download our app instead" blooming hate that! Your paintings are fantastic! I can only do stuff with photoshop! I'm not much of a designer as I basically build what the creatives give me and bring them to life.

Chiropactor - been waiting months to see one on the nhs, can't afford to go private. :(

Yes, it works OK, just not designed to work to it's best potential with all devices :) Haven't seen it myself (not that I'd understand much of it) but apparently all the code written behind the pages is a bit messy after all the years of changes and alterations. I was told that by an art colleague in Oregon who could build websites.

I used to like the sites that could recognise what sort of device/resolution had arrived and show the appropriate pages. Seems they're all changing to the universal 'fits all' sites now and I don't care for them ...I see sites I've used for a long time change and it's as though the soul has gone out of them!
Most recent was a gallery site I looked at yesterday.
I use a desktop with a large screen monitor for my work needs, and I'm sure there's thousands of others as well as the phone and tablet users.

Thank you! I do love my work ..no matter how long I do it, there's always something new to learn or discover.
In the early years, I did a lot of commercial work ...you'll find it if you do an image search as a lot of it is still being used for jigsaw puzzles etc. It wasn't exactly the type of work I really wanted to do but it earned a decent living, and all the time I was learning more. The hardest part was that I would get briefs from art directors and it cramped a lot of creativity. I suppose you feel like that at times.
It was back in '99 that I decided to move on and only work on fine art paintings and with galleries.

Such a pity that the NHS makes people wait so long when they're in pain - that's why I found a chiropractor for my husband and told him not to go to the doctor. He'd have taken a lot of painkillers and being a trapped nerve, it wouldn't have got better.
The only reason we can afford to do that is because I've been self employed for 24 years, and quickly learned that income is not guaranteed - so I always saved as much as I could for things such as that while he was still at work. He's retired now, so those savings are proving very useful at times like that.
Saving was easier before the dratted recession though - can't do it much now!

I'm actually enjoying vapetto now. In fact I can't put it down!! Gentle draws are the way!! You can taste the creamy strawberry!
Great! Really glad to hear that.
I love both of the Vapettos ..just wish I could use the strawberry one a bit more than I can - still, it's a nice treat as long as I don't overuse it!

...and, I tried the LT Crème D'Straw ..very mild taste and it gave me breathing problems fairly quickly. Obviously a different brand of flavouring!

I was looking on the Grey Haze site today - they have quite a number of different brands including their own VG range. Not terribly exciting, but the menthols and a Strawberry one sound interesting - may try those at some point.

I decided to order a few of the different strawberry flavourings/concentrates from CV and will add them to VG one at a time to see if any of them affect me, and how much.
Seems like some custard and vanilla flavours, plus certain brands of strawberry are a problem along with a few other odd ones such as blackberry, pineapple etc.

My Fat Cow didn't arrive yet. Doesn't sound like I'm missing a whole lot :D
Still, if I'm OK with their strawberry, I can perhaps add something from the CV concentrates I got!
The samples sound good! I already like Lews Brew, RY and the Choc Vapetto. I sometimes add the Confusion or some caramel to the RY too!

The MVB one will be a surprise! ;)

Around 3 weeks ago I came home from work suffering from really bad shivers, migraine, fever and nausea which over a week later developed into a really bad cough which I still have. This is all due to some selfish so and so coming into work when he should have been signed off by the doctor and infecting half the office.

So these last 3 weeks I haven't vaped or even felt like vaping. Just wondering if this is the end of the road for vaping for me? I dare not try a toot as I know the throat hit would certainly tear my face apart and forget a lung hit - dear god I can just about get through shower steam right now let alone a vape.

Should I quit or should I start again as soon as I am well?

That is totally up to you. You're living proof that vaping is not habit forming as some people want you to think. I know when I smoked cigarettes it didn't matter how deathly ill I felt, I just lit up no matter what.

Congratulations!

I can go all day almost. Vape on the commute to work and on the way home. Then a small session in the evening. I'm not a chain vaper [emoji2]

Well the smoke rainbow stuff has shipped already! Only ordered last night and it's coming from Croatia I think!

Looking forward to the mbv cinnamon roll flavour and trip hammers fruit pastilles amongst others! I'll blog about it!
I love it when things get sent out quickly! Shouldn't take too long to reach you either :)

You just reminded me that I have the Jelly Babies to try! I remember you liked that. I also got Rhubarb Pastilles & Treacle sponge too - I'll try them, but will only do one at a time with them having PG in the mix.

Interesting to read!

I think you'll like those others from CV that you've ordered samples of!
I just got 4 different strawberry concentrates or flavourings from them and have ordered some VG 0.6mg base from LT to try them in! One smells particularly authentic, but sometimes the smell and the actual taste are completely different!
When I get a minute, I'll try mixing some of my LT lime with a VG Vanilla Ice cream I just got from the US, and one or two drops of Koolada ..see if I get a lime ice cream float :)
