i started with 808 style and 510 style .. cartomizers.. then some clear things that gives me mouth full of liquid..

gave up.. went back to smoking cigs..

i really want to give this another shot.. but there seems to be so much new stuff out now i have no idea what is what

i like portable.. i like long battery life.. i was looking at the got vapes vision volt kit which seems like same profile as my 808/510s from before but a much better battery life?

are there generics for this VOLT kit? and is it compatible with all 510 cartos? i have so much stuff laying around from before i might be able to put some cartos to use.. or are there newer technology that's better than cartos or clearos whatever you call them now :D

thanks for any help.. im very open to suggestions of new gear out there that may finally help me get over analogs

Is it important for you to use a cigarette look-alike? If not, consider something more powerful and only a little bigger like and Ego/Kgo/E Power system. Longer battery life, carry more juice minimizing need to refill, more powerful for better satisfaction in flavor, throat hit and vapor.

no i don't care that it looks like a cig or not.. so the ego system is still one of the best?

Yep, the Ego type is still the best value for money.

I'd suggest trying an ego (or if you want to try vv - an ego twist) with a carto tank set up, or a stardust. Both are easy to maintain, hold a decent amount of liquid and the battery will last a reasonable amount of time. Plus getting 2 egos and a bunch of cartos, tanks and/or stardusts will cost less than $70 :)

since I still use my joye 510 and an ego I won't suggest any PVs

but, when I started I vaped when I wanted a cig. then if I still wanted the cig I had it guilt free. doing that alone I went from 2 1/2 pad to 2 cigs a day in a month, without much pain. maybe that will help when you get your gear sorted out...............

If you want to stay with something not too unconventional with serious battery life, take a look at the Joye 18650 egos at Carolina Vapes. You'll have to buy bateries and a charger separately though. That will run you more than the device. However, you'll have them for whatever you decide to use in the future.

My first kit was an eGo-T, which has a bit of a tank on it. There were quite a few reports of leaking problems from various members, so the kit is sort of frowned upon. I had 1 DOA atty, which I sent back and they replaced. I got another matching kit for my father in-law, same deal, 1 atty DOA, replaced. He's still using his, almost a year later. The batteries work well and have held up.

That said, I'm gonna point you at it anyways. The set-up is pretty clean and easy to understand. The attys wash out real nice if you happen to want to change flavors or what-not. It's some what of a last-generation thing though, since the eGo-C came out.

Both of those kits come with 650mAh batteries. If you use them like you're smoking an analog, use it for a couple minutes and then put it down for half an hour or so, one should last you most of the day. I would always charge mine before bed while I was winding down form the day, and then I would start the day with one fresh one in my carrying case and the one I had been using in my hand.

Hope this helps.
