Hi there, I'm Jale from the Balkans and have been smoking for 35 years now.
Well, it's time to throw away the analog and start with the digital. Bought myself
a Geekvape Aegis X with a vaporesso NRG Revenger tank yesterday and am looking
forward to using it. English is not my native language so please forgive me if I make
some mistakes. Most probably going to lurk for a while here first as there is a lot of very
good and useful information to read and a lot to learn for a newbie to vaping like me.

to ECF Jale. So glad that you are here. Congrats on your decision to vape. I have read many good things about the Geekvape you have got to start off your vaping journey. I smoked a lot longer than you and I still am amazed every day at how vaping changed my life.

You have definitely found the best place to find out anything you want to know about vaping. Some wonderful people are here to offer help and give support. Enjoy and please make yourself at home.

Welcome welcome. Just a bit of starting off type info for you...once you get used to vaping, you will never want another cigarette. But, for a new vaper to switch from 35 yrs of smoking to a direct-lung type tank it will definitely take some getting used to. The NRG is an awesome tank, I have one. Mesh coils provide superior performance. I don't know your personal experience with vaping, if you've tried it already or not, but unless you have strong lungs, that NRG is gonna make you cough. A lot. Direct lung type tanks have larger airflow and produce much vapor. You draw through them with an open breath directly to your lungs as opposed to drawing on it like you would a cigarette. If you have never done this before, well, you will cough. Maybe even cough up your lunch. From my own personal experience, when I first started vaping i used a device that was more like drawing on a cigarette and even that was hard for me to do without coughing. Took me a few months before I was able to step up to the bigger tanks. Vaping definitely doesn't feel like smoking. But hang in there and enjoy the ride.

It has been so long since I quit traditional cigarettes and I was a very heavy chain smoker. For me, and I know everyone is different, I made the decision to vape and from that first moment, I never smoked an analog cig again. If I would have done the dual things --smoking and vaping --I would not have been successful. Now, many many years later I vape regularly and enjoy it. I no longer feel addicted. Wishing you good luck. I lurked for about a year before I made the move to quit and thanks to this forum I was armed with all the info I needed.

Hi Jale, welcome to ECF. There are a lot of friendly folks on here and they are all here to help you quit smoking. If I can give you any advice it would be for you to ask questions. Lots of questions. I found that vaping dried out my mouth, so the solution for me was to drink a lot of water. I hope you are successful in your vaping lifestyle.
