I had a throat problem when I started too. First try, equipment was too bad. Later try, I cut to half the cigs, 7/day, and stayed there for 2 months until my throat and sense of taste improved enough I could proceed. I used 12 mg juice at just over 5 watts in a couple EVODs at that point, with variable voltage on the lowest setting rather than running as hard as most of them do, and got familiar enough with it to be able to detect the burny point and regulate that. Eventually I added a mod with a RDA etc... Your smaller device is the power level of my RDA and I guess you got the Cerberus tank with mesh coil, yeah no doubt that could way too much. And if you don't draw enough air through because you can't handle it, that just makes it worse.

I suggest rebuildable eventually, or at least an (appropriate) RDA, but really you need to find something satisfying enough first to be a point of reference, and that certainly should be possible. Also you need backups and with an RDA really also need a pocket-friendly device. I suggest Aspire Nautilus series MTL tanks at 7-10 watts with an adjustable battery unit although the regular 1.6 ohm coil is usable on a straight battery voltage mini-battery unit. Nicotine is a conundrum because you want to get it and yet it does increase throat hit. My old 12 mg (which I still find somewhat intense) at 5 watts would be matched by your 17W pod with 4-6 mg, or 8-12 mg nic salts. With the Nautilus and regular nic I'd start with 6 but graduate to 12 or more if sticking to that.

ok so I been vaping for 3 years but alternating with regular cigarettes, bought my first vape it was a smok with a 3mg liquid at first was so hard to smoke make me cough a lot so I quit the vape I kept researching on the internet so they recommended ruthless juice because of the higher VG and I help I quit for 2 weeks and started back to the reg cigarettes becomes the mod was to big and heavy for work stop using the vape for about 1 year then went to a different job and every body was vaping so started to google a different mod and bought the geek vape mini aegis and bad drip juice 3mg and was coughing again so I read somewhere that mixing 3mg and 0 mg will help so that was the answer to my coughing

Now bought the lost vape Orion q Pod
And using regular juice but I think the first coil burned to fast I tried the mic salt but it’s to strong it’s like inhaling crushed glasses now I am looking to get a juice wit 3 mg or 1.5 nic to avoid burning the coil

Still smoking 10-15 cigs per day (Marlboro ultra lights)

Any recommendation or tips to quit smoking
(Sorry for my English it’s not to good)

    Welcome to ECF Carlos.

I think finding a lower nic might solve the coughing thing, but is that going to be enough nic for you to completely stop smoking? Try the above recommended lower nic salts and hopefully that will work, but if it turns out that you finally have no throat burn issues, but still cannot kick the cigs, then you might just have to bit the bullet and go mtl vaping at higher nic and just get use to it....I know many of us coughed and coughed for a while until our bodies adapted to the vapor, including myself. It took me a couple weeks of coughing and almost chucking before my body adapted, but after that it was all good.....in the end, it was well worth that harshness and coughing because I never smoked again because of the higher nic....

Maybe ur watts aren't high enuff for what e liquid or strenght ur vaping that will cause coughing also. After afew tries u''ll eventually find ur good spot with whatever ur vaping. Just try to keep vaping on its better than those nasty real cigs. any day !

Ok I’ll go to the store and get the pachamama 0 mg and dilute the nic salt

On the aegis i am using the mesh coil x2 great coil compare to smok coils no cracklings or spit and great flavor
I use 60vg/40pg & have some 70vg/30pg both are tobacco+menthol+12mg. nic & vape w/no problem in all my devices no leaking, spitting, coughing but we all different. A friend mine vaped for afew years just fine then she ended up having symptoms & found out from allergy doc she was allergic to the vg/pg & had no choice to quit vaping cause she was getin worse symptoms but she was ready quit anyway now shes doing fine doesnt smoke nasty cigs or nothin. Maybe ur allergic hun it happens !!

Hello and welcome to ECF. There is enough difference between cig smoke and vapor that your body will have to adjust to the vapor. Until your body gets used to the vapor, you really don't need to inhale the vapor. Draw it into your mouth and hold it for a bit then exhale it through your nose. This will still give you the flavor you like and the nicotine your body wants is still getting in your system. Good luck with your vaping lifestyle.
