So, I finally decided to give vaping a try, and I really do like it. Right now I'm using the V2 with medium strength Sahara flavor. It's pretty decent, but I've seen a few youtube vids about refilling these cartomizers with your own juices. Does anyone have any experience with this? How well does it work with the V2 cartomizers? In the last week and a half I've gone through just two of the cartos, and was wondering if refilling will last as long, and if it is worth it to refill these.

Also, thanks for creating such a great place for info on these amazing products :D

BY V2 do you mean v2cigs? They are just rebranded KR808-D1s, so anything you read about KR808D1s on this site will work with your system. Check out Vapor4life.com, all their juices, empty cartomizers, passthrus, batteries, etc. are compatible with your system.

You can buy juice from any of the fine vendors on this site to refill cartomizers. There are also YouTube videos and info in forums to help you along.

V2cigs huh.I got one to see if it was really was 'The best" they calmed it was due to the 4.2 volt power.Mine never ran above 3.8.Typical.It didn't even have superior activation switch inside like some of the other new 808's.Not bad a lil over priced tho. There is better tho Not at all nocking your satisfaction.Congrats on your success but Tip: The mom and pop sites Like the ones in the suppliers section of ECF have better prices, better customer service and more to choose from and upgrade to.

To fill the Cartomizer:

1. pull off the white soft plug you inhale through

2. drip liquid onto the filler inside slowly giving time to let the liquid absorb trying not to get any onto the center hole.20 drops should do it.

3.Put the tip back on and.....VERY IMPORTANT>>>> Blow through the cartomizer BEFORE putting it back on battery incase any got into the center hole. If liquid leaks into your battery it will kill it and it will have come from liquid traveling down the center hole.

4. Wipe the bottom.

5. Screw on the cartomizer and Vape!!

Vapor4life is a good spot of many. Try a few and see what fits you the best.taste is very subjective.
Hope this helps. Congrats on your breaking away from the butts! :)

Hi Burdger and welcome!

My very first kit was from V2 and my analog days are long gone. If I had come here first I would have saved a bit, but then again V2 advertising got me off 30 years of smoking -- so I will remain grateful. V2 cartomizers are actually decent quality (although VERY overpriced) so definitely refill them. As I recall I normally had 4 or 5 refills before they started to wear. The advice above is perfect for refilling them. Also review the "condom" method on youtube.

Like you, my next step was finding ECF and the overwhelming amount of knowledge and support here. And I moved on to V4L for more spare cartomizers, a pass through (that I still use -- try that next) and juices. I still get most of my KR808 stuff from V4L -- good folks, respectable prices, solid product and fast delivery. I tend to get my juices from several vendors. The V4L "WOW" cartomizers seemed to work the best on my standard V2 batteries.

Keep on coming back and asking all the questions you want. I have sinced moved on to Egos, then Ego-T's, then mods... and most recently a Phidias (an absolutely perfect mod for me). I suspect you will to... but keep those V2's handy -- they are always decent spares.

Well, I definitely have a sweet tooth. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I enjoy the coffee flavors in candies and what not. I'm also a big fruit juice fan. I'm just looking for a good site with a nice overall sampler pack that I can sample a lot of different flavors to maybe find one I like. The ones I've seen so far seem to be in packs of five that are all similar flavors, like coffee flavors, tobacco flavors, fruit flavors, etc.

I would probably suggest freedomsmokeusa.com for those. They have 3 ml samples for about $3.00 each -- and they always throw in a free sample too. Let them know that you are new -- they may pop in two (I know they've tagged me on a few of those that have become regular flavors now LOL). I personally really enjoy their "Cocoa Chaos".

FreedomSmokeUSA (oft referred to as FSUSA here) is a reliable vendor. They also have an ECF coupon code for all ECF members but I can't remember what it is at the moment LOL!

Once you've tried a few and have a stash of what you DON'T like, visit the Pass it Forward thread on here. It's a great way to get new things and give away what you don't care for.

Thanks, any recommendations of good sites for sampler packs? I've been looking through the different forum suppliers, but haven't found any great juice sampler packs.
To be honest although I have goten some pretty good sampler packs none of my favorite juices came in sampler packs. They do however come in sampler sizes.

My two favorites are Gorilla juice from AlienVisionsEliquid and Kickin apple from FreedomsmokeUSA. Both create a lot of vapor with a lot of flavor and a great throat hit which is what I look for.Alien visions are moving facilities at the moment and are out of GJ till may 5 but a must have. Boba's bounty is a very popular flavor from AVE Not so much for me but that just goes to show how subjective taste really is.

If sampler pack are the way you want to go tho. Awesomevapor has a decent organic sampler and liquidxpress has a line called "indulgence" that is pretty good too.

I personally do favor the top two vendors as well as backwoodsBrew.the juices at BWB i've tried tend to be a smoother vape if thats what you like.

The best advise you will hear as fer as juice is concerned is although suggestions help always decide for yourself what is good for one doesn't necessarily mean it is going to be good for you and vica versa.Make your own opinions.

If you are still dealing with v2cigs and have any store credit to burn, get one of their lanyards. Overpriced for what it is, but they are one of only two vendors that sell those and they are fantastic for carrying your PV when you don't have pockets and extremely handy for doing the Taryn spin for drying and filling cartomizers. If you watch the videos, you'll see what I am talking about. Attaching the carto to the rubber tip thing is much easier than sticking it in a sock or bag to spin and it points in right direction.

Basically you add five drops or so, spin, add 5 more, etc. until you get to 20 drops. It's really fast. To dry you take off the white cap put it on backwards, go outside or put a condom on it and spin it dry.

I'm recently new and with V2 cigs. They have announced that all of their cigs are going back to 4.2, I guess there was a quality control issue with some of the older ones they sent out. They are really nice though with their customer service. I would love to try that Cocoa Chaos mentioned above.

I don't know. I didn't receive what they said they were selling that's all I need to know. Sounds like snake oil salesmanship. They dont have a bad product but I just dont like being mislead into thinking something is better than it really is.I hope I did just recieve a fluke average perforing set. Then it would be worth the price for others but for me, I have already formed my opinion.

I'm curious, where did you hear this. I would like to read their statement. Are they offering replacements for the ones that didnt do what they said?

The v2s are fine for 808 style ecigs....some of their cartos, if I remember, had a hard plastic cap on the end instead of the softer rubber ones like v4l....the hard ones are a bit tougher to remove, but it can be done with a little hook like tool, like a binder clip metal piece, or something similar...just hook thru the hole and pry on each side of the cap til it pops off...
The soft caps from v4l are much easier, and I think v2 had some soft ones also...haven't ordered from v2 in a while...

As far as sweet dessert or fruit flavors...mrs t's bakery has the best I have tried....her flavors are right on the money...
