First I'd like to introduce myself... My name is Shan, new to these forums (as you can see). I'm a 30 y/o female ex-smoker of Camel WIDES for 15 years (about 28 cigs a day).

Now on with my personal experience and a few questions.

I have been vaping for a week now and haven't touched (all but 1) smoke now. I thoroughly LOVE the positive outcome of vaping vs smoking. Not only for myself and my son's health, but the environment.

I know a lot of people have had troubles with e-cig.com as far as shipping, I however didn't. I did however have an issue with 1 of the 2 batteries... but that problem has been addressed.

For me I went with the E9 aka Express II, because I didn't want to invest too much into something I wasn't sure I would stick to. I will say I've been watching Youtube vids around the clock comparing the quality of mine to others.

Battery life - SUCKS - lasts only between 1 - 2.5 hrs depending on if I use the wall charger or standard usb charger. (takes about 2 - 3 hrs to charge). The shorter battery died within 6 hours. The longer one is actually not bad for such a "cheapie" item. But the fact that I lost the shorter one kinda ticked me off after paying 13.99 for the shipping, cost of shipping back, etc...

Vapor - is UNREAL. Not sure if it's the fact it's a 2 in 1 carto, without an outside atty or what, but it's suffice to say I'm actually excited for the vapor it produces. I've tried e-cig.com nic as well as Wicked E-liquid (which doesn't vapes as well in my E9, but still decent)

Throat hit - great, but I know there is better.

For my being a noob to all of this, watching videos, and getting all sorts of views from around the globe. I'm satisfied (can't complain for 12.95 + 13.99 shipping) with the E9, but I want an e-cig that is not only COST FRIENDLY, but has a battery life of atleast 4 - 8 hours and the vapor is still there. I've looked into the Happy MegaEgo mainly, and a few others that would give me the battery life and quality I'm looking for... but the price tag is just entirely too heafty for me; being a single mother, with a crap job.

Can anyone direct me to a site or sites. That has an e-cig (preferably one with a separate cart and atomizer), is to my needs, and is cost friendly as well??

This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for...

  • One that can vape for a good 4 hours without needing recharged every hour.
  • Is between the price of 40.00 and 60.00 (with shipping)
  • and isn't going to die on me in a few weeks.

If anyone is interested on the great vape I do get from my E9. I have a Youtube vid I made a couple days ago for my friend who is curious to buy an e-cig as well, but waiting on my say on the best one to go for.

I'm not trying to spend 400.00 til I find one I'm happy with. I would rather get the input from people who have been vaping for a few weeks/months (or years) who know what's up and can help me find what I'm looking for.

So far I've watched tons of Evelwmn and Leaford vids, and a bunch of random ones. But haven't come to a conclusion on what would be best for the price I can afford at the moment.

Thank You to anyone who is willing to throw their input at me (and please don't bag me for owning an E9... it's a decent noob item, just not what I'm looking for anymore)

As a newbie, vaping for a little more than a week... I got my ego from freedomsmokeusa. Thought i paid a little extra (maybe 5%), but they have good service and added a sample (3ml) of flavors whenever i buy something. I've bought thee 510's from dfwvapor (for my wife, daughter, friend - i'm paying it forward) and they have great service & prices. My recommendation is from this site - people are looking for different things, so do a lot of research. My wife loves the 510, and i love my ego. there is not one right answer. Check out mistress nomad's videos... i found them very helpful

The Riva is better than that. What you need is a Riva or a Tornado or an eGo (all knock offs of the eGo). The battery lasts me about 8-10 hours and the parts are cheap and easy to get. They all use basic 510 parts, but they also can use bigger and fancier parts made just for them.

I'm still looking around for you... hold on.....

I owned a 510 at first, and after 3 weeks was tired of charging batteries constantly, so I bought a joyetech Ego, and love it. Gave my batts to my wife, who unfortunately is still on the analogs full time. :(

My ego battery lasts between 6-8 hours depending on how much I vape that day. Works perfectly for me, as I always carry my spare battery around, and when it dies, I swap them, and put the dead one on the charger in the evening when I get home.

I have heard similar success with Riva and also the Tornado. $60 including shipping is not a bad price at all.

Good luck

The more I think about it, and the more I look at it and the battery life. WOO! I've seen nothing but pos reviews and the vape vids are unreal!! I'm 90% for the getting the eGo... It's what I'm looking for, at a price I'm willing to pay... TY so much for your input as well.
