After a great deal of investigation I just purchased a Zenisis Altus. I can't wait for it to arrive. I love the fact that Zen has developed a new thread standard to get away from the 510 connector that is less than ideal for the more advanced devices. The quality appears to be top of the line. I would also love to obtain a ZNA but I don't know the ropes enough to get one soon but Zen promises that his devices will have a long run and eventually everyone that wants one will eventually be able to obtain one. Mostly I like the modularity of his line which assures that you don't waste your money on something that will be obsolete in a month.

The innokin products are really catching my attention. The provari is just too much. I understand it's the Mercedes of MODs...but I'm cool with settling for a lexus. It's not a big deal to me. Right now I'm torn between an SVD or a 134..

I appreciate all your recommendations and you guys have been super helpful, as always :)

I'd definitely get an SVD. The 134 is really nice, but it doesn't have a resistance meter or a display (or even VV, just VW I believe. IMO, it's more something to get after you have at least one other "full service" device. Something for the desktop or coffee table only. To use the analogy you used earier, the SVD here is a fully loaded Lexus; middle of the road price with an expensive look, feel and features and the 134 is a base model Mercedes; pricier, looks fantastic, turns heads, and still nice to use, but you find yourself wishing it had some heated seats.

I know you said you dont like box style mods. I thought the same thing for years. But i got myself an MVP2 a week ago just because i couldn't pass up the $35 price considering its features. I found i actually prefer the box style now. This fits real nice in my tiny hands and i like that it stands up on its own. The battery life is amazing. I got it monday and just charged it for the first time yesterday!
