First of all, I'm thrilled I found this forum. Everyone is so helpful. I bought the Inferno from volcanos cigs.com and I am very happy. I even bought two extra batteries. Long story short, I've run into a problem. All the juices I bought from madvapes, Heather's Heavenly Vapes, Alice in Vaporland, Lizard juice, AltCig, and Freedom Smokes USA have been wonderful. But, two of the juices from Velvet Vapors, Strawberry Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake, have a strange effect on my atomizer. When I drip them, the permanently change the taste of every flavor thereafter. It tastes like a burning spicy cinnamon/chemical flavor permanently. No matter what else I use, or how much I use other flavors from other vendors, it's quite prominent. I thought it was just the atomizer, so I changed it last night. I tried a few sweet flavors today and they were delicious. As soon as I used the problem flavors, it happened again.

Am I doing something wrong? Has this happened to you? Should I clean my atomizer? I saw that recommendation on a few threads, but how would I go about it?

thanks so much for your help!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes, please clean the atomizer between strong flavor changes. A little warm water run through it or let it sit in some vodka or Everclear for a couple of minutes, rinse, blow through it until no more moisture comes through it and start vaping with your new flavor.

Some flavors just want to stick around.
If you can't deal with the transitional period, then a good cleaning is in order.

I never clean my atomizers between flavors changes.
And I change flavors constantly throughout the day, but I'm not picky and I deal with it.

Most flavors fade away quite soon, and the mix is often something I enjoy before it's gone.

I have a few juices that I really like, but they stick around longer than I would like.
And because of that, I don't use them as often as I would like.

Pizza is the main one, but there are others.
Cinnamon and mint come to mind.

Same problems here Rockstarima. I had a cinnamon that I ran thru one atomizer and everything after that tasted like cinnamon. They say, the flavor burns onto your wick or something like that, permanently. You may just want to order a few more atomizers.

Currently I'm battling burnt tastes on multiple atomizers, and trying to sort that out.

What brand of PV are you using?

WOW! I didn't think people really vaped stuff like pizze. Is it good? Like does it really taste like pizza? I need the old galbladder removed so no pizza for me ever again as I don't have ins to get the surgery.

You will want to dedicate an atty just for each of those flavors in the future if you want to keep using them. That's a bummer. Atty's aren't cheap.
In my experience, the flavor always fades away, it's just a matter of how long.

The dill pickle juice I bought a sample of has very little intention of leaving my atomizer.
And trust me, dill pickle does't taste good mixed with any subsequent flavors.

Actually, the dill pickle by itself doesn't taste all that good either.
So I pretty much never use it, although I refuse to throw it away for now.

Pizza is a very good flavor.

I took it to a vape meet and everyone who tried it liked it.
Although they all discovered that it doesn't leave the atomizer without significant patience or effort.

Mrs T's Bakery has the best pizza flavor I've tried.
Although I've tried others and never really had a bad one.

I went ahead and pitched the flavors. Thank god they were 5 ml samples and I only paid a few dollars for them. It sure beats the $7.99 per atomizer.
