Well I've been vaping for a few weeks and want to try out higher voltage vaping. I'm pretty savy with electrical and am sure I can put together the 5v box that's in the DIY mod forum. I'm just wondering what all will I be gaining when doing a battery mod. What's the difference between the vaping experience between a 6v and 5v mod. What is the difference between the different atomizers I can use. I wouldn't mind spending money on a nicer built mod once I know that I enjoy vaping that voltage. Are there any benefits besides looks in buying a 70+ prebuilt battery mod?

The most important things to me in vaping is flavor and a good throat kick. I don't care if I blow giant clouds of vapor as long as it feel close to an analog and tastes great.

Well then build one with a pair of protected 14500 batteries and a TI 5V regulator. This will give you consistent 5V vaping from start to finish, something the fancy expensive mods can't do. And stick with Joye 510 atties.
