Same here, I always smoked a bunch when I drank. I love vaping cause I can vape in my house and around my friends without smoke lingering everywhere. My friends find it curious, so they don't seem to mind at all. It's cool when I am outside with others and they ask me about my PV.

To add: like you, I had a cigarette a couple months into vaping just to compare - and it definitely didn't! That was Oct 31, Halloween. Haven't had one since.

Brown drinks (beer whiskey dark rum, brandy, etc) I recommend a nutty/toffee/tobacco or all of the above. Ry4, Nutty caramel, wyatt earp, and if you want an ...-kicking TH, get someone's cinnamon (fireball copy).

Fruity drinks, go with a comparable, but not the identical fruit. If you're drinkin a strawberry daiquiri, don't vape on strawberry. Go with orange or watermelon.

If you're drinking a martini or a dry mixed drink vape on lemon. It's your call. I think that Camtel goes with everything, as does Earp, as does Dekang Desert ship and ry4. I'm waiting for my VaporBomb juices to steep, but White chocolate seems like it may go well with alcohol too.

If the flavor is good, and the juice is well mixed, you don't need 100% pg to get a solid TH. Even 50/50 or 60/40 either way will give you plenty of hit with the right flavor. I even have a couple of 100% VG juices that kick like a mule. Bruce's butterscotch from Clouds of vapor stands out among them, even tho the flavor is a litle... tingly.

This is a minor little bump to say that I've found my new favorite beer, and the only vape that isn't crushed by this beer's effect on the palate. I've grown fond of the Stone Brewing company's Arrogant ....... ale, and vaping nothing but Wyatt Earp while I'm enjoying this particular beer. Lighter beers I stick with FSUSA Camtel, but heavy, potent beers like this one, it's LR dripped wyatt earp FTW.

It's funny, I used to be a menthol smoker, but with vapor I really like the tobacco flavors for booze time.
I bet Arrogant ....... would be great with tobacco (as I'm sure almost nothing else could hold its own against it flavor wise).
I agree that matching exact flavors does not usually work well. I made a Pina Colada and it made my tasty Pina Colada juice horrible.

Something similar, but complimentary is the idea. I wouldn't drink a strawberry daquiri and then vape on strawberry, I'd go with orange or banana.

Arrogant ....... goes really well with wyatt earp, but Camtel (fsusa) tobacco is a little wimpy by comparison.

Regular beer is best complimented by plain tobacco flavors and caramel/toffee type flavors.
