Stownz tips:

Read ECF: There are lots of great mods out there, and great cartomizers and attys. Research a bit here on ECF and realize there are some great options out there. You can get a VV (Variable Voltage) mod for $35 from Madvapes, you can get VV Bottomfeeder from Jmarkus for $85. You can get Dual Coil Cartomizers that will blow away all others for $8.99 for 5 of them.

DIY: Start researching DIY mixing. HUGE cost savings there, especially in the beginning when you have to order so many juices from so many places. With the money you save VS premixed juice, you can buy tons of mods 8)

Bloog has some good prefilled cartos and a few more flavors than smokeless image has. As far as a PCC pack I think you can buy those for the 901 battery so you should be able to charge the volt in it but you might want to ask around to make sure that the polarity and stuff of the charger will work I know they have the same threading.

What's the quality difference between Blook and Smokeless Image cartos? I've read a lot of threads about the two that say they're pretty much identical.

Honestly, i don't know what the difference is in the hardware. I do know that every maker can end up using different liquids/mixes/ingredients, and that has a big difference, of course.

Alot of people say Bloog cartos are the same as Volts but I get better results from the Bloog ones. I have only used one 5 pack of Volts blanks and they are close to the same but not exactly or maybe it was just the pack i received. I wont buy them again. I will stick with Bloog even though they are pricey. I will just order in bulk and not on a monthly basis like I am used to doing so I can save on shipping and 100 cartos will easily last me awhile.

In stuffing-type KR808D-1 cartos i like to use thin juices - juices with 20% of less VG. I seem to get the best continued performance out of a carto with thin light clear juices (clear light juices are less likely to leave flavoring sediment). Cartos have limited lifespans and few succeed with cleaning/drying them to get more life out of them. I treat them as one-long-use items. I alternate vaping 2 cartos, and often get 2 weeks use or more out of the pair.

I never ever put untested juice in a carto. If you have auto batteries, I recommend for testing a manual KR808D-1 battery for $10 from LiteCigUSA.net and from the same place a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and 901 drip tip (if you get the drip tip in plastic or delrin, then the same tip can be used on many stuffing-type cartos as a comfortable and easy to remove mouthpiece. Also - if you have auto batteries you need to be extremely careful that a carto is not going to leak before putting the carto back on the battery.

Juices - 2 of my own light colors thin faves for cartos are Vapor4Life WOWbacco (very cocoa tobacco, also in their WOW tobacco sampler which is KR8 cartos, as is the WOWBoy which is the same + mint), and WOW Vanilla (a sweet marshmallowy vanilla). Both have good TH

I get some 80pg/20vg juices at Gourmet Vapor whenever they have a sale and their vanillarum is a nice juice. A nice one at FreedomSMokeUSA is oRYental 4, a very sweet caramelly RY4 tobacco.

(snip) and WOW Vanilla (a sweet marshmallowy vanilla).(snip)

This is how I would describe the Bloog mint (not menthol) carto. Very sweet smelling, marshmallowy tasting. I couldn't find the right words to describe it. The throat hit is a little lower than others I have tried, but to me, the flavor makes up for it.

I've been thinking of trying some of the V4L or WOW flavors, as I have heard some are very good, and it seems I have developed a taste for the sweeter flavors.

sidenote: I also realize that i had gotten a little overzealous with starting to vape, as i have already spent more the same than i did on analogs, but the stockpile of cartos i am seeing grow makes me happy, heh.

Tips... no, not now. Advice? Read, write, ask questions, communicate a lot here since there is a learning curve, experiment, upgrade if desired, and above all else don't quit quitting!

Oh, and Welcome to ECF!

The tips above are great. The rest will wait until you get your kit. Type to you later..........
