I have a few question for some of you experenced vapers. I have just recently started vaping (almost a week)and ive noticed i am fling through cartamizers. I go through about 2 to 3 cartos a day which is about right if the cartos last as long as a pack of smokes. So ive placed another order for about 30 more carts still have some to last till it gets here but i got to thinking maybe i should fill my own cartos.
I have a Volt by Smokeless Image and I love it, so i dont really plan on getting anything else in the near future, but here are my questions.

1.What are the best vendors for e-juices and who has some of the best methol and fruit flavors. About what prices should i be seeing for the different sizes (i just dont want to get ripped off )

2.Can I refill a factory filled cartomizer from smokeless image (I know they sell Unfilled too but just want try and recycle the prefilleds if i can)

3. Can you use the condom cap refill method with the volt or anyother two piece automatic battery

Thanks in advance for any help

Mad Vapes is the vendor I use for juice. I wouldn't say they are the best, but they are one of the cheapest. If I am not mistaken the volt is a kr808d-1 model. You shouldn't have any trouble refilling those. Refilling is the way to go. Using pre-filled carts exclusively will get very expensive. I would start buying blanks and juice if I were you. I have tried the condom method and dropping directly on the hole in the battery side. The best method I have found so far is just removing the cap and dripping directly on the filler. I have wasted alot less juice doing it that way. You just put drops on the filler until its is saturated with liquid, but not so much that there is liquid on top of the filler. Everyone has their favorite method of filling. This is just the one I prefer. If you are going to refill the prefilled carts just use a juice similar to the one it was filled with to avoid crossing flavors.

If you have auto batteries then you have to be super careful about refilling cartos. A filled/refilled carto is more likely to leak than a prefilled one. And if a carto leaks it is going to leak right over where you can damage or kill an auto battery.

I don't know what model Volt is, whether they use soft-cap cartos you can add juice to in the intended way or hard/glued on cap ones to discourage refilling in which case you need to use condom method etc. I use KR808D-1/Vapor4Life and 510 cartos and don't run cartos dry because I don't want to singe them and ruin the flavor. I keep cartos damp during the day and get days of good use out of them (in some cases weeks)

You know, I never thought about condom filling as a way of reusing cartos with glued on caps but it makes perfect sense. Anyway, I was just going to say you can refill cartos for auto batteries. My friend who does it just leaves them sitting battery end down on a few paper towels overnight. Not as convenient as with the manual batteries and filling on the go is risky, but it's still doable.

I've been refilling my smokelessimage volt cartomizers. I pried off the hard top, then inside there is a silicon gasket ring just sitting on the top of the filler material with a hole over the silicon tubing hole. I take that silicon ring out too (use a toothpick, paperclip, dental tool, whatever). Then I do the "condom method", I call those carto protectors "rubber booties" let it sit like that for all the material to absorb as much as possible, maybe even squirt some more juice down from the top, to totally cover the material. Awhile later, I pull off the rubber bootie and set the cart connector side down on a paper towel for an hour or so.

I put back in the silicon ring, and pop the top back on. Give it a little blow into a tissue and dab to make absolutely sure no e-liquid is going to be going down into the battery and kill it. Done.

I've refilled my volt cartomizers many times now, no loss in flavor, vapor, nada. These are so darned good!
