...Is there any 'soaking' or techniques I should know about with the nautilus Mini before first use? Sounds like the instructions aren't great! haha

I drip a few drops of juice right into the center of the coil. It helps prime it. Then fill it up. Then let it sit for 2 or 5 minutes. I take a few draws with the air control on the small hole without firing it to further prime it. I turn my device to it's lowest setting and vape. I'll slowly turn up the power. I don't want the first hit that coil gets to bee too strong.

No problem, my pleasure. As much as I like Halo juices I do think they taste best in Trition tanks. I tried my favorite Halo Juice, Twisted Java, in the Nautilus mini it was not as good as it was in my Trition. That is not saying that the mini or the juice is not good. Only that Halo products work best together, IMHO.

ET-S is another Aspire tank. They vape very well. Even if you get a Naut mini, which is a very nice tank, the ET-S is a much less expensive tank so you could buy a couple of them. Just be sure you're getting the ET-S glass. The regular ET-S has a plastic tank. The glass is more durable and provides a better taste experience, imo.

If you want to "upgrade" your juices as well, try Nicoticket. You won't be disappointed.
Oh, and hearty congrats for quitting the combustibles (tobacco)!

Hi. The mini does look good on the iStick, but the tank is small. I'm refilling it a lot. The bigger nauty works great as well.

You'll get better vapor from them and the iStick, but I really like the flavor from my Triton, especially with Halo liquids.

And yes, you'll need coils for the naughtys. Make sure you get nautilus BVC coils, not the nautilus BDC coils.

This 101vape.com has a good deal on the big nautilus. Buy it, it comes with 2 coils, and they toss in 2 more, so 4 coils with the tank for $22

Genuine ASPIRE Nautilus - 101 Vape

And the best deal on coils for the Triton are here, Kanger T2 Sunfire 70mm Long Wick Replacement Atomizer Coils 5-Pack - VapingME.com. Identical to Halo coils, and a quarter of the price at $3 for a 5 pack.

Man that deal would be awesome! Doesn't look like they ship to Australia though as they don't list that as a country. I've sent them an email though to see if I can get a quote :)

Thanks for the tip on the Triton coils as I just ordered 15 from Halo and paid WAAAAY too much!

Aspire ET-S on Triton batteries.

Very classy! :)

Thanks DaveOno, GeorgeF, Dog and everyone else for your input and info, I think I've got the soaking coil thing down now!
Right, my plan is to now get.
1 x iStick
1 x Nautilus Mini
1 x Nautilus (standard)
2 x ET-S Glass Tanks
(possibly try buy some Nicoticket E-Juice to try)

I'll also be looking to get the MVP3 when that comes out.

Now I've just got a find a place that ships to Australia for a reasonable cost!
I can get most of this stuff here through local guys but they have huge markups on it.

Love this forum! :)

EDIT> I cleaned my two Halo Triton coils and wicks last night and air dried overnight. Vaping much nicer again now that the wicks aren't totally gunked up but the ends are starting to split and fray so I'm probably not too far off needing those replacement coils ;)

You can get 2mm silica wick. Use some teflon tape on the end, twisted tight to get it through the coil. The top one is easy, just pop the little top off the coil. A bit of fraying is OK, but not near the center.

If you wet the wicks with a bit of saliva, it makes it easier to get them into the tank.

You might want to contact fellow aussie ecf member Chesty. He would know vendors to down under.

He hangs with us in the Halo section. Come on in and say hi in the chat thread...
