I am not the beginner vapor - but am here with a credit card placing orders for one. I have been on a Provari V2 for over a year and have everything I can think of for the top. The problem is I cut out for about a year and camped on a cart and tank setup then came back a couple of months ago and went straight RBA. Life is good for me :)

I have two friends who have recently ordered a Provari Mini. I set them up for starters with some Clearomizers that I had on hand as well as some Boge carts. Since I dropped off the circuit for awhile I am unaware of what is the most user friendly setup available today.

Please keep in mind this is their first real attempt at vaping and putting the analog's down. They have bought the cheap setups that failed numerous times when finally decided to go for it and just get the Provari mini. They love it and now have me ordering setups for them. This is where the very user friendly thing needs to come in. I can help them of course with just about anything but it really needs to be something they can do solo as one of them is not close enough to get help immediately if needed.

I am at a toss up between the viva nova, vision nano, cart & tank, (no dripping). It needs to be as simple as can be. Will someone give me some advice please. Unsure if the viva nova is too much for a beginner - although it may not be. I feel as if it is just one of those get it set up and go type things - only thing you have to replace being juice and the head when needed. I can handle the head and they I know can handle the juice - no syringe also a good thing. The nano is very simple but I am unaware of how long it lasts - I have a couple but do not use them as my primary setup.

Thank you :)

I got mine from Sun-Vapers (Edward, the owner, worked with Kanger on the design). They are out of stock and no indication of when they expect to get more. Quantum Vapor has them for pre-order (and at a lower price), but I'd never heard of that vendor until today: Quantum Vapor Kanger Pro Tank

Vivi nova probably is their best bet but they have terribly delicate threads. Whether they arrived to you cross-threaded or if you did it yourself by accident, they LEAK. Also, never buy a used vivi nova, you're just asking for trouble. Check out E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

It helped me tremendously and I hope it will help you too.

Thanks for the shout out on my blogs, Redhat Pat. ;)

For easy juice filling I usually recommend the Vivi Nova's to beginners, with additional recommendations to try as much variety in juice delivery devices as they can. I personally gave all my Vivi Nova devices away to beginners as I've come to the conclusion that the string wicked devices are going to disappoint me in their consistancy and frequent lack of flavor production. However, I'm fully aware that these devices are other vapors' favorite delivery devices so therefore recommend people try them for themselves to seek their own experience and preferences.

I like using the Nano's for juice flavor sampling, because of their smaller juice capacity and easy changing from one flavor to the next. Basically a small version clearomizer. These work for me for juice sampling because I don't drip.

I prefer cartotanks, but because of a slightly more difficult learning curve an easier delivery device should also be on hand in case of possible issues in the beginning. RBA's have an even larger learning curve and require some education and research on the part of the new vapor before delving into that more advanced arena.

I've been using the Protank now for two days. It took a bit of fiddling to restrict the airflow, but once I did that, I was very impressed. I think the taste from my carto tanks is slightly better, but the easy of use is balancing it out. I vaped a whole tank yesterday, then rinsed it out under the sink this morning to change flavors, which was simple, and didn't even let it dry completely. I am almost ready to fill it again - so that will be two tanks vaped and not one bad hit. I just pre-ordered two more.

another easy fill, easy use device is the VapeOnly BCC Vapeonly BCC Bottom Coil Changeable Clearomizer these work very well on the ProVari and don't require the tilting the Vivi's do.

I've heard good things about those, but I can't use them because they are incompatible with my favorite e-liquids. My primary attraction to the Protank is because it's made of pyrex. I do have to give the vendor points for clearly stating:

*Please note: The Vapeonly tank should not be used with Cinnamon Death, Rage, Heaven & Hell, Sweetart, Ectoplasm, or Gummi Bear.

Unlike other vendors who claim their clearos are made a an, "improved material less likely to leach or leak," but don't clarify that leaching and leaking isn’t the same as cracking or melting.

ETA: Since I was giving kudos to vendors I have to praise gotvapes inovation with their products too! It's noted the "reformulated tube on the newest version of Stardusts, [is] stronger and virtually impervious to juice leeching." Which is a great thing to know in case you're ever in the Amazon or something and your juice is at risk of being consumed by blood-sucking worms.
