How many of you also own mechs?

I have a couple mechs but all I use them for is my rda's at home mostly, my provari is the one I take every where with me.

I will get one more mech though, I want a 26650 one due to the fact that ill be able to vape my rda's without having to put a new battery in every hour. But then again it will stay on my desk here and not go out much at all either.

The Provari was my first regulated mod when I upgraded from an ego, that led me to rba's. As my builds improved so did my watts, I soon was at the maximum output of the Provari's of about 15 watts, that's what led me to mechanicals. Bought a nemi clone with a kick 2, to work my way safety into the sub ohm zone.

Once I hit the .5 ohm lower limit for the kick 2, had the proper batteries, skills and knowledge, I stated going straight mechanical. After that I was hooked on high watts vaping. Would use the Provari and my mech kicked at 15 watts for my standard ohm builds, but use the straight mech for the sub ohm zone.

Then I decided to get an Authentic Mech mod and ordered the Stingray Copper Black Mod by JD Tech. Sweet mech, simply love it, then I looked into 26000 battery mods, got the Tatroe Big Nasty and the Beast Box VV. Loving the staying power of the 26650 and 26500 battery mods. The beast has a 6 amp fuse so can maintain around 20 watts vaping for a full day or two, and will push both sub and standard ohm builds up that high.

Basically the Provari has turned me into a Vape Junkie, but it has stood me well and enabled me to learn a great deal in 5 months that I have owned it. I still use it, but not as much as my other mods, It is probably the best starter mod kit on the market. Am happy that I chose the Provari to improve my vape journey.

After using cigalikes, eGos, and a SmokTech Bolt, my first APV was a Provari. My next PV was a mechanical. I now have over a dozen mechanical mods, but my Provari is still my only APV. I exclusively use rebuildable atomizers and I always build them on my Provari. I do this for safety reasons. I still love my Provari, but I rarely use it as my strong preference is mechanical mods.

My daily carry is a bottom button mechanical mod in 18350 mode. I like the small form factor and the simplicity of it. I used to not understand why someone would favor a non-regulated mod over a regulated mod, but it really isn't a big deal to me. I build 1.5ohm coils and my setup works just great for me whether I'm at 4.2v or 3.7v.

I really love looks of some mechs, but I don't wanna have to do different builds for different juices, I like being able to mess around with the voltage setting. I do have a couple mechs I've got my eye on, but even if I go that route I'll Kick them. I'm perfectly happy with 1.2-1.4 ohm micro/cotton builds, which my 'vari handles just fine, and since I can vape the builds I like with the protection of a regulated mod, I'm happy with that.

I have a M16 clone. I like messing with it. I believe all vapers should have a vamo and a mech. I prefer my ProVari above all else. I build all my setups. I usually use my IGO-F, IGO-W, and my Forge clone. I use my Vamo v5 for all experimental stuff. One should have a vamo and mech for the following two reasons. If you lose your vamo, then your out at the most 45$, and they work great too, by the way. You should have a mech in case your vv device dies. You can certainly use those batteries in a mech. I think my M16 clone was less than 20$. Also, I totally prefer a mech over an ego. I'll add a pic of my M16 setup.

I bring two Provaris and one EA mech with me everywhere. I also require constant flavor changes and have KFLs on all three while out & about. I also have an RDA that I'll slap onto the mech for a quick peppermint blast if I feel the need to blast the taste buds. At home, I tend to use the dripper with juices that I like, but don't want to vape a whole tank.

I build all of the above between 0.9Ω and 1.4Ω.

I am in line for a mech BF mod and will see how I like BFing (and squonking). I am going to try lower ohms because I'm curious. I have already built a 0.5Ω coil for the RDA and just got some new high-drain batteries that are waiting in line for the charger.

And, I am waiting for the opportunity to get a DNA20 wooden pipe - maybe it'll have DNA30 by that time?

Love my Provaris, though!

Variety is the spice of life[/] vape.

My first Vamo died after a few months. The second was getting wonky but fell off the boat before it was 2 months old. I figured a third would (they were around $60 at the time) have put me above the cost of a ProVari. Glad I finally went with ProVape.

I Love everything vape, regulated, mech, sub ohm from a low of .3-.8 ohms to builds up to 2 ohms. Just depends on the rba and what works best on it, till I try the latest wire art. lol Then if I see an improvement with twisted or Mundy Magic, I then have to perfect it on each that is used. Have 5 mods right now with a different rba tank on each, all with different flavors, with a watt range of a low of 15 on the Provari, 20 on the Beast Box VV to a high of 50 on one of my mech mods. Like I said, am a vape junkie, says dice as he anxiously awaits the arrival of his DNA30, and looks for the release of the SuperMax 70 watt capable VV/VW mod. lol

Totally agree. ProVari is the only tried and true way to go. I was putting that out there for the non pro enthusiasts. Also, when I'm out hunting and fishing, the vamo will be with me. I tend to lose or water log stuff.
