Hi all!

I have browsed through the forum but didn't find an answer yet...

I bought my 1st e-cig (DSE901) at Cloud9vaping.co.uk and to go with it some liquids: watermelon and cream, both have 8mg of nicotine.

Battery all charged I enthusiastically started vaping and... nothing. Close to no vapour but what most bothers me is that I feel like I'm inhaling nothing!

Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong here?

EDIT: I should have started where Parky50 did (basics). Follow Parky's suggestions first!
Katariina did mention getting some vapor, so I assumed the ecig was connected properly. :p
----------------------------------------------

Possible solutions:

1. Remove the cartridge (cart) from the atomizer (atty), and make sure the polyester batting is wet and at the end of the cart closest to the atty.

The atty would have been shipped with a preservative on it that will taste terrible, so;
2. Blow through the hole in the bottom of the atty (battery end) a few times holding a paper towel in front of the cart end.

3. Replace the atty, drip 2 drops of liquid directly onto the bridge of the atty, replace the cart and vape on it 3-4 times as if you were trying to get a cigarette restarted that has almost died out.

4. Do the 2 drops & vape process 2-3 times to quickly burn off the preservative, drip 2 more drops onto the atty, and about 2-4 drops onto the batting of the cart. Reassemble once more and see if it vapes correctly.

If you have additional batts/attys, use the "cleaning" method above, and switch just the battery, then atty, to see if the one you are trying now has a bad part.

Hope this helps,
-Caveman

A couple of other things to add to the above helpful posts : -

The atomisers are usually shipped with a completely blank cartridge (mouthpiece) attached - ie not even any wadding in it. So this needs to be replaced with one that comes with your kit.

Another thought is, make sure you aren't holding the 901 with your finger blocking the air hole in the atomiser. If you block this hole, you won't get any vapour.

Sure the battery is fully charged ?

Even bad liquid would produce some vapor.

There's something funny about the charger/battery. Yesterday I charged the battery until it showed a green light and started vaping w/ the results I described. Now just an hour ago I put the battery to charge again and the light was red for almost the whole hour and then turned green. I detached the battery and re-attached it to the charger to see if it still shows a green light. And guess what, the light is red again?! wtf

Welcome to the forum....I don't want to say this, but if you charged the battery and you know your atty is okay,,,then the problem must be in the battery...defective, that is...It does happen to all types of PVs..Email your supplier and see what they say...
Don't give up because of this set-back....
I was lucky,,,,my first and only PV is an Ego from Janty and it worked from day one...Been analog free for two months....For me that is fantastic....Again, Good Luck,
and Welcome....
