I exclusively smoke cigars. You name it and I've probably had it. Partagas Serie D, Tatujae, AF Opus X, Romeo Y Juliette, Monte Cristo #2 #4, Padron 64, Bolivar BF, Pepn Garcia.. list goes on and on.....
I've tried quite a few cigar vapes but none came close to a cigar IMHO. A cigar is brute tobacco with subtle characteristics and a flavor profile that will change throughout the smoke with some of the more complex cigars. These subtle flavors run the gambit from earthy, creamy, woody to cocoa , black cheery, nutty-- but at the root of the profile is always tobacco .
So I was quite excited to hear that there was a flavor that came close to a cigar.
Opened the package and I could smell vanilla and slight wood.. sandalwood maybe?... Pulled out my SB with a new Joye 302. Right off the bat .. BAM .. vanilla with light sandlewood, just as I had smelled it. So i vaped it for a few days to give it a try, and I won't be vaping it any longer.
On the positive side--
It has very nice vapor--very very nice vapor. The vapor that comes off has a nice scent and even a "smokiness" to it like real smoke which was very nice. The nicotine hit was nice as well. Not too much throat hit even on a 510, but not many liquids give me one unless it's very very high nic.
On the negative side--
It is perfumy IMHO, not as perfumy as eliquid's essence but still perfumy.
Faberge's Brut--vanilla-- and sandlewood....think I'm straight with that.
The sandalwood is nice-- real nice, but the vanilla is a turn off. The flavor as a whole has a candyish feeling and leaves a artifical like coating\flavor behind, similar to what saccharin or other artificial sweeteners leave.
It is true that it is closer to a cigar than any other cigars I've had. It almost reminds me of a flavored cigar. No, not a White Owl peach or Philly grape that you get from the Stop and Rob; but an infused flavored cigar that you get from a cigar shop-- a Drew Estate-- if your are familiar with that brand. I guess that is both good and bad. Good because I can make the comparison to a "real" cigar, bad because well.....

I say give it a try though because I'm sure it will appeal to a lot of people and it's definitely nothing I've had before...
