Belmar, NJ shore community bans cigarettes, approves of ecigs....

Just heard this on my drive home this evening...........
The beach community of Belmar, NJ has outlawed the use of cigarettes on its beaches and boardwalk. The fine for violations will be $25.00. E-cigarettes are permitted!

A ray of sunshine and evidence of sanity in Belmar, NJ! I am looking for a link, and will post when I can find one.

Love Belmar and the whole Jersey beach. Probably the best line of beaches in the US. Boogie boarded many a 6 foot wave on Jersey's coast not to mention awesome fishing. When I smoked cigars I used to go out at night and smoke em on the beach.

YES, it's TRUE! NJ beaches are among the very best and beautiful in the US. I was on Sandy Hook just yesterday.
Hey, Just MAYBE the folks of Belmar can teach the geniuses in Trenton, the FDA and Congress a couple of things.........
