The tanks I would use on the Provari would be an Aspire Nautilus and Aero Tank Mega. If I get the mini and set it to 4v and my ohms is at 1.5 it will automatically know to set watts at 10.5 or is there no wattage option?

Provari uses only variable voltage, no variable wattage.

A general rule of thumb formula is to take the measured coil resistance and add the number "two". For example, 1.5 ohms plus 2 = 3.5 volts.

This is a "ball park" spot to start at. Each flavor may have its own "sweet spot" in voltage. Experiment and see what voltage works best.

I personally have no use for variable wattage as I am changing flavors throughout the day, and each one has a different sweet spot in voltage. I wouldn't want to use the same voltage (wattage) for all of my flavors. You'll discover this yourself once you use your Provari.

Ok well I am going to try and sell a couple of mods I own and then I will be purchasing a Provari I look really forward too it and from the sounds of it I will not be disappointed.

I got my first ProVari a couple of months ago, a full size V2.5 blemish. I can not find the blemish and have inspected it under a jeweler's glass. I love it so much, I just got a Mini from the classified here on ECF. It should arrive around Wednesday!

As others here have said, it just works, no excuses, no real fiddling, other than setting the voltage you want, hit the button and it works! And it works smoothly.

I bought the Mini as my back-up and for carrying in my pocket when out. I also am trying to convert my wife. She is still a dual user and has several stick style VV batteries. I think if I can get her using the Mini she will be converted.

Good luck and enjoy! You will not be disappointed.

I went straight to the provari full size a couple weeks after I started vaping. I went by reviews and threads here, everyone who owns one loves them, and I didn't want to end up with 30 mods and end up with the Provari anyway, so I took the plunge and ordered the kit with the nautilus upgraded tank and the extended cap. I love it, lasts more than a day, and it produces perfect voltage all the time.

I may get a mini at some point for work, I still have my evods if I need to be stealthy, but using them I miss the Provari.

Jeez I wish I'd got mine a few weeks into vaping. I've have 4 of em. Tried a lot of mechs and atties. couldn't find one that equaled joyetech 306 atties until I found the dripper pro by leo. now I can fine tune my coils and am in heaven (again). The dripper pro also has the teardrop design on it. paired with the mini at about 2 ohms make juice taste the way it was meant to.

Congrats! One is most definitely not enough and like you, I bought my 2nd Provari in the first week. When you find something this well made that works every time you push the button, and it's simple to operate, it's just a great thing. Yes indeed it is!

I can't add much except to say I got a full size about 2 months ago. It ruined me for any other device. All I have used since I got it. I plan on getting a mini this week. The provari has been 100% since the day I got it. I know when the batt is getting low, but it lasts long enough that I don't have to carry but 1 spare with me and mast of the time I don't need that. The vape is smoother then other devices and its a good size to pocket carry. It's a great vape and Compleatly safe and reliable.

yup. Kanger mega tank. Gonna change the coil to a 0.8 Ohms....

Might have to pick up the shiny bronze one next.......Help me! I'm addicted!!!

Don't think you will get that to fire on the Provari. If I remember correctly the newest version P3 has a 0.7 cut off. Older ones it is 1.0 ohm.

Most 2.5's will fire a 0.8 ohm coil. The mathematical cutoff is something like 0.83, but with the tolerances in components the exact minimum can vary just a little bit.

Running low ohms isn't the best way to use the device though, it's not a mech. You can get more power out of the device at 1.6 ohms than you can at 0.8.

Well, I wish anyone trying good fortune. My provari gets finicky at the 1.0 ohm. If I do my dry burn firing on a mech mod or dna 30 sometimes I can get it to work around 1.0 ohm. I have heard others getting a little lower. Just thought the person deserved fair warning.

Some will, some won't. It all just depends on the components, both in the Provari & in the ohmmeter. I know of plenty of folks who've used theirs at 0.8 & the vast majority will handle 0.9 ohms. But when you can up the voltage, there are better ways to get more power/watts out of the device. I posted a chart showing lowest resistance per setting, amp draw & how much power you're getting over here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/589687-provari-rba-limits.html (Post #9)
