hi MotherofCats! (LOVE the name! I have 11 misfits and rescues myself ;))
I really appreciate all the inputand experience here on the forum! I only have the "all in one" not removable batteries right now....but that cuz I really can't afford better right now. As a new vaper, I went the usual route ..from something that HAD to LOOK like and TASTE like a cig..(minus the ashtray breath! ;)) ..to craving better taste and a set up I can MANAGE on a daily basis! I'm not mechanic...I'm not ready to go poking around my vaping pieces and parts yet..other than to learn basic sanitizing...VERY IMPORTANT so you don't get sick from trying to get healthy!!:thumb: So on my journey, I've got like (2) 1300 mah built in batteries... a 1000mah built in and a 650 mah built in..and a handful of those itty bitty cig alike batteries...honestly they last me about 10 minutes per vape session anymore...what a waste of time/money. So , see, I can skate for a while on my built in batteries...I ALWAYS keep some charged up...and a few can be vaped WHILE they charge....they connect right to my computer ..I EVENTUALLY want to go to the rechargeables....Some of my batteries keep getting LEAKED on by ejuice!! And that can fry them right now! Then..bye bye built in battery! This may all seem really new and overwhelming for you right now as ypou learn...but as you learn you will grow and figure out what you are able to manage. The important thing is you don't EVER want to be caught with your pants down and no charged battery! EVER! Your success to quit smoking DEPENDS ON THIS LITTLE FACT. If your batteries all go belly up at once...say you drop one..falls out of your purse at the mall...Have a back up safely tucked away...And learn where your local ejuice shops are...so you're never caught with no juice! Great waty to taste test before buying too :thumb: Good Luck!...and take care of those babies!!:D

Something else I had in my mind, if the deeming regulation goes through as is we could see a lot of turbulance/lack of availibility in devices next year. I figured having a few quality battery replaceable mods would at least do me for a few years. I have 2 provari 2.5s to go with the sigeleis since i figure the provari will last a good 4/5 years easily. Sigelei is doing fine so far, just not sure how long it will go for, with a price of 33 though I figure if it lasts more than a couple of years it will just be a huge bonus.

My high powered box for subohming is a hex ohm 2, very nicely built and I luckily found it on sale. They have a lifetime warranty though given what might happen, who knows if they will be around more than a couple of years. Really hope they are, make quality stuff.

Yes, I'm not convinced most mods will last any longer using replaceable batteries over built in ones. A cheap mod is a cheap mod :). Only time will tell if I'm right or wrong. Will my Sigelei mini last longer than my mvp 20W? I don't know. I'm actually leaning toward the mvp lasting longer, lol!

I've been using the same cheap ($30) 18650 mod for nearly 2 1/2 years. I only had to buy a couple more $10 batteries this year. Frankly, with the threat of regulation hanging over everything vaping, I only consider products that have replaceable batteries and tanks that are rebuildable. Just my paranoia. However, I'm a very simple vaper.

I would go with the Samsung 25 r. It seems that this battery is overall the most purchased, and the most liked aside from the Sony vtc

For sure. I did get a few lg he2s cause illumn were out of the samsungs temporarily. From everything I've read they are neck and neck. Illumn has the samsungs again though and at 5 bucks a piece what a bargain :)
