Best 14500 battery and place to buy it? I want to order a BB from Altsmoke but they are sold out of the 14500 batteries.

The 14500 is much smaller than the 18650 that has very high MAH so a smaller battery has a smaller MAH...Make sense?..I hope...

The AW's are High Drain batteries. Don't last as long, but give you a much better vape. If you want longer vaping time you don't want a BB anyways. You want a SB.

The AW imr are high drain and also have a truer mah rating then other batteries.

That depends how big your pockets are.

It's pretty big... Take a look at the Prodigy V3.1. It's a decent size, but uses 17670 batteries. Last a lot longer than a 14500 without the massive size of a SB.

The AW IMR is lower mah for the same size because it is high drain - as I understand it, they hold the voltage up better (so they work harder for less time). The protected Lithium Ion ones have longer mah but don't hold the voltage up as well and I think they also don't really last as long as they imply?

Right now I am using Ultrafire protected 14500's but I want to try AW IMR

There's also the fact that AW is reputed to be a little more honest about their MAH rating than a lot of other vendors. It depends on how picky you are really. The best price I've found on 14500s is for Trustfire Flames at dealextreme. It takes 3 to 4 weeks for them to get to you and they aren't AWs though. There's a good thread on how different batteries stack up in the notcigs forum. Most of them are actually pretty close.
