I will eventually learn what all these things really are and what use they are. For now just using carto's seems to be working well enough for me. I do have a couple atty's and like 10 blank carts that came with my kit though. I think I am going to use those to try out new juices before I ruin a carto and have to clean it. Such as with the beer flavor I filled a carto with. ;)

what is the best type/supplier for 3 piece e cigs??

If money is not a problem, I'd definitely buy a real Joye eGo (not any generic, like Riva, Tornado, etc). I'd go for the higher mAh batteries. Arctic Vapor currently has a 1300mAh eGo kit for $56.96. I just bought one of these for $55 with shipping and discount, and it's a nice kit (bought the last one that vaporheads.net had available). The battery is 7 inches tall when the cartomizer and drip tip are attached, so it could be too long for some people, but the battery life will be longer than any of the other eGos.

The 1000mAh eGo is 6 inches long with the cartomizer/atomizer and drip tip attached.

The 900mAh eGo is 5 inches long with the cartomizer/atomizer and drip tip attached.

The 650mAh eGo is ? inches long with the cartomizer/atomizer and drip tip attached. I haven't bought one of these and probably never will. The battery life is not long enough for me. This is the one that you'll find in most of the eGo starter kits available at many of the suppliers (the suppliers who sell many different brands and not just their own cheap-quality, very expensive e-cig kits).

I have six eGo batteries, bought at the suppliers listed in my signature.

There are different ways to use a battery:

1) with a cartomizer and drip tip (used mainly for a mouthpiece and not to drip -- or you can use the drip tip to drip into the cartomizer -- and possibly getting juice into your mouth from the juice that stays at the end of the drip tip).

2) with a cartomizer and no drip tip

3) with an atomizer and cartridge (prefilled or add your own juice, and possibly modify the filter in the inner cart of the cartridge so the juice will wick better into the atomizer coil)...most people choose to not use the cartridge, as it's a PITA.

4) with an atomizer and drip tip (use the drip tip as a mouthpiece or to drip into the atomizer, but juice can remain at the end of the tip and end up in your mouth, so it's easier to drip into the atomizer after popping off the drip tip). Three drops need to be dripped into the atomizer every few puffs in order to keep the atomizer coil wet enough.

actually that 1300mah sounds tempting lol...

Yes, isn't it?! I just bought one (silver kit) and still thinking about getting the black 1300 kit. I'm not quite committed to using a 7 inch PV yet, though, because there's about an inch sticking out at the bottom of my hand when I'm holding it. I have six of these eGos now, and it seems I'm grabbing the shorter 900 silver one or the medium-length 1000 black one the most because they fit my hand perfectly. But it's such a good price for the longest eGo battery life....
