So, I am looking to upgrade from an MVP 2.0, and I was wondering what the general population here thought the best 30-50w box mod would be?

The iStick 50w is very well made and I have been very pleased with mine. A lot of bang for the buck.

I actually had a conversation with a vapor shark rep regarding the comparability of the DNA 30 and the kanger subtank nano. They told me to upgrade to the 40w but at a substantially higher price. This kind of makes me a bit leery when it comes to putting any money into a vapor shark.
Personally I don't think you need more than 30 watts for the Kanger subtank nano. I do however feel that the vaporshark DNA40 is an excellent device. I went from a HANA DNA30 to the vaporshark rdna40 and IMO it was an upgrade well worth it. It could be just me, but I feel like I have much better battery life in the rdna40 over the 30 and the extra 10 watts comes in handy when using rda's or even something like the delta 2 tank.
I've been using an SX Mini for awhile and love it. Solid as a rock, 60 watts, prettier than the average box and they have a TC version scheduled for release later this week. Search around the site, there are a couple of active threads, (Yihi SX Mini) and you can see what people are saying about it.
IMO the iStick 50W can't be beat. It can be found online for ~$50 it's stupidly simple to use and it works with every device I have. Good luck!
Ipv mini 2 which goes up to 70 watts is awesome and the ipv2s which goes up to 60 watts. Or the istick50 which tops out at 50 watts.

I have the SMOK M50 and two istick 50, the istick is far better IMO. I bought the second one after I didn't need to charge the first one for 3 days. The convenience of the huge battery life is the best thing about ti for me. I never go over 20 watts.
I rarely use my 2nd ipv mini2 because no atty sits flush on it, its alot better then my 1st, but to me that is a hugh problem. Its not an uncommen problem either, maybe theyve fixed it, 1 was a preorder the other was sent a week after release. If it wasnt for that small problem id recommend it.
Im thinking of ordering the Yosen which is just a zero clone that they say is an authentic On Focalcig. $70 so not bad either.

That is strange advice. I run the Nano at way less than 20w.... no problem at all. I feel kind of leery on your behalf,

Solo, I know a guy with the sx mini and the paint is peeling off. If I am spending $80 on a mod, o really don't think I want it to look beat up after having it for a month. Maybe there is a cover that will keep this from happening?
They are talking about making a clear sleeve. Really it's not about the paint, it's about the chip. Best one out there. They are far more than $80 though..
