I actually had a conversation with a vapor shark rep regarding the comparability of the dna 30 and the kanger subtank nano. They told me to upgrade to the 40w but at a substantially higher price. This kind of makes me a bit leery when it comes to putting any money into a vapor shark.

I have a VaporShark DNA 30, and once I started to use a Kanger Sub Tank Mini and Nano (which I really love...), I had to switch to a new device. The problem isn't that the VaporShark DNA 30 can't push the sub ohm tanks, but battery life is aweful! While I used to get a full day out of the VS, with the Sub Tank, using a .5 ohm coil it would last me 3-4 hours, tops!

Now I have purchased, and use the iStick 50w, and it lasts me easily two days, and part of a 3rd.

Great device! Still love the VaporShark DNA 30, but it's not for sub vapping.....

Forget Hana Modz and Vapor Flask/Shark! Yeah they're good, but their over rated and expensive! Myself personally would go for the SMOK XPro series! The quality for the price is fantastic! Or a Sigelei 50W, they're quite good for performance and the price. I do find duel 18650 box mods to be more reliable for obvious reasons. But most of the time if I take a single 18650 device out with me, I still have liquid but an empty battery, if I take a duel 18650 device out with me, I still have battery life but an empty tank! Can't win either way! Haha! ;)

I would have to cast another vote for the iStick 50w, absolutely zero complaints about it. The battery life is amazing for such a small device, easy use and locking buttons help alot of you carry it in your pocket. The only downside I've seen so far is that the finish is easily scratched, so a vinyl or case will be needed if you want to keep it looking new.

The finish is kind of important to me. I mean, I have had the itaste 2.0 for going on 3 months. I have dropped it a few times, banged it, and it still looks new. Whatever the use for the finish on it is bullet proof. I is an awesome low wattage mod. ZERO troubles and 2 to 3 days of battery life. I am looking for that ONE 30-50 watt mod that has the same characteristics. Every one I have looked at has issues whether it be the finish, battery life or faulty buttons. I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and just try one. I think it may be the iStick 30 or 50 to start with as the price is not too bad.

Depends on the money. For high end reliability I'd go to the Vaporshark or the Yihi SX Mini.
If your budget is tighter, then the IPV mini2 and the iStick.50.
I use Nautilus tanks and rarely vape over 15w, so I bought the Sigelei Mini for the back door convenience.

Stay clear of the Cloudpor, the quality is extremely poor. For instance, the Sigelei Mini retails for 35 bucks without battery. But for your sub ohm tanks, I'd choose the Mini2 or the iStick 50.

Dovpo dt-50 4400mah built like a tank can get from slowtech-$60 Istick 50 simple and works period 55 to 75 depends on where you get it and they are stupid popular so watch out for clones. And you don't have to screw with batteries. USB charging on both or if you are technically adept you can buy a DNA 50 clone Hana box and get a genuine DNA 40 chip and rip out the Chinese chip in install the genuine and you have a temp controlled 40 watt mod that does it all for less than 80 bucks.
