can anyone recommend a well made 510 adapter. after smoking for 45 years I switched to vaping 6 weeks ago and just purchased a mech mod but the adopter is very poorly made and tends to short out I am using a kanger mt3 tank.I found the bottom coil tanks like the kanger or gs-h2 tanks seem to give better flavor and smother draw but wanted a larger battery than the e-go sticks

I don't know of any specific one that would be better than another. They're probably only made by a few manufacturers. I'd suggest just buying one from a known, well established vape store, like 510 to [eGo] Adapter and you will most likely be good. Something else to keep in mind, don't over tighten things, tends to cause shorts.

I am using a 4185 nemesis I purchased on ebay with Panasonic 18650 3100ma protected batteries (8amp limit) it works well with my Taurus drip atomizer. it has screws in the top and bottom to adjust for battery length but is just a basic mod like I see at the vape stores.I adjust the top screw till it makes contact with the vaporizer of adapter. the bottom of the tank is adjusted so the battery does not move around.the bottom contact screw is all the way in and the switch works properly the unit appears solid with no slop or play and test with my dmm show that the short is occurring in the adapter I can see the insulator migrating out over time
