I bought a cheap 18650 mechanical as a backup to my iTaste VTR.
My iClear 30s will fit on the mech just fine but I bought a vivi nova tank that will not screw down on it. It almost feels like the threads are stripped when trying to put the Vivi on it. So I used the "adapter thingy" that came with my VTR to screw in between my mech and my Vivi and it works just fine and does not feel stripped at all. (It just makes the whole system ridiculously long)
So I think its just a compatibility issue with the Vivi like maybe threads are just a bit too short or something. Anyway, I started looking online and found a couple things that might work but I am not sure which would be better. I am hoping someone has experience with using one or both of these devices and can tell me which one would work better for me.
1. The airflow controller - even though i dont have problems with airflow, this looks like a solution to the thread problem:

2. The 510 TO 510 SHORTY BATTERY EXTENSION ADAPTER - This looks like it would be pefect but the comments on the site talk about "top button" and I dont really know what that means.. My mech has a bottom button...
