i prefer 2.0 ohm cartos personally. my source has been litecigusa for quite a while.

FYI though, if you're looking for a NEAR analog experience I suggest going with KR808s, the batteries deliver TRUE 3.7 and typically have better battery life than standard 510s.

Honestly I almost threw my mods on the classifieds when I started using LR cartos with kr batteries, but of course a juicer mod is hard to beat =P

The OP uses Super T Manufacturing Precise 16340 (see his signature :)). Can't do much better than that for true 3.7v experience... Kr8 batteries deliver 3.7v, true, but only for a short while. Then their voltage begins to sag. Unfortunately. Besides, their battery life is very short compared to the Precise.

Using LR attys and cartos on a standard KR8 battery isn't recommended. The battery's output isn't rated for the kind of current that the LR stuff draws and it could significantly lower the life of your battery or worst case scenario cause it to over heart and vent its electrolytes. Stick to using LR stuff on batteries with a mAh of 650 or higher.

Katya - although a mod is great on most occasions, an inconspicuous device would always be preferred. I certainly didn't bring my saber touch with me everywhere I went. In my personal experience the KR with an LR carto is a great vape, its consistent, fits over the ear (this is actually important to me lols), and I don't get odd stares when vaping outside of a club. I also don't find myself vaping as constantly as I used to, vaping 24-36mg has drastically slowed down the habit so I don't ALWAYS need big battery mods.

Manic - I fully understand that the KR batteries aren't meant for lr cartos, but every manual battery i've tried hits perfect, and if it does happen to crap out its only 8-10 bucks. For a chance at vaping on something that vapes like a mod but feels like a cigarette i'd happily drop another couple of bucks. As for vape times. I carry two batteries, a pcc and a mod to handle most of my vaping needs throughout the day. If i'm going out at night, i just bring the kr and the pcc, honestly vaping has never felt so simplistic to me and thats would this industry needs to be geared towards. I still got 6 er 7 shiny mods that I enjoy vaping, but as technology moves forward I'm hoping rid myself of these mods and get a device that fits the bill with good vape times, 5 voltish vapor, and decent ml capacity all in the size of a newport 100. Its coming guys, just wait for it lols

Not saying it's going to happen, but just be careful :)

Manic, while I appreciate you obviously have more knowledge on this subject than me, I'm puzzled because I know of at least one company(V4L)who sells LR (2.9ohm)cartos for their batts and have been doing so for many months and, while there is the warning that these can run "hot" and shouldn't be used on the 5V PT, nobody has ever said these shouldn't be used on any of their batteries, which range in mah from 180-380. I have been using them for months now, with no negative effects (at least, not to my knowledge). Believe me, if there was a problem, their forum would be blowing up with complaints!

If 2.9 ohms is correct, that is not LR. LR is 1.6 to 2.0 ohms, LR is not recommended for anything with less than 450 mah. The Ego is generally 650 mah or more and it is suggested not to use anything less than 2.0 ohms on those. I am not an expert but I have heard modders say that the extra current pulled by LR is too much for batteries with out the higher mah to buffer the harder draw.

That pretty much sums up the extent of my knowledge on the subject too. 2.9 ohms isn't LR and is safe on a standard KR8 battery.

I decided to place an order for some Boge 2.0 and CE2 2.4-2.6 cartos and see for myself. Just got them today... Loaded up one of the Boge's with some Juicy Peach from DIY Flavorshack. Very nice flavor, about on par with my usual LR BE112 atty. I'd say the 112 is slightly better on flavor and vapor, but the Boge is pretty close. Been vaping on it for about four hours straight, and it was still going strong. Just topped it off anyway so that it wouldn't dry out on my though. I did get a little leakage at first, but I think I may have over filled it. It just feels so short to me though, but then it may be because I was so used to those monster 112's. I think I may have to pick up a drip tip just to make it a little longer so it feels right to me. My main question now is how long will they last me. I get about a week or so from the 112's before they just aren't performing to my standards. Even if I only get half that from these, it will still be cheaper. Now if I can only find them in a silver or chrome so they match my Precise...

Haven't tried the CE2's yet, I think I'll wait till tomorrow for that.

Nhaler has the Boge 2.0 ( and 3.4 ) in steel.

I didn't see anywhere on the site where it said they were Boge's, but I'll take your word for it. They are a little more expensive than Liberty Flights though. :(

Update of my Boge 2.0 review while I'm here... After 7 days of using my first one, I'm find that the draw is getting noticeably harder, and the flavor has also diminished. But considering that I usually get about 7 to 10 days of use from any LR atty, I'm very happy with that. Especially when you factor in that these cartos cost me less than $2 each, as opposed to the $7 each I've been paying for LR BE112's. I think these will be what I'll be using from now on when I'm in the car, at work, or out and about (which is probably 90% of my time). I'll keep my LR BE112's for dripping when I'm at home relaxing.
