I just got the spade from dietsmokes. I've only had it for 2 days now but so far I really love it. I'm a chain vaper and I get between 5 & 6 hours out of each battery. Like I said I've only had it a couple days so I'm still giving it the run through but so far I really like it. BTW...It use the 510 atty.

I, too am looking for a good mod. Not necessarily a 510 (although that's all I've tried) or 5V. The ones I've seen the most talk about here are the Chuck, Prodigy, Protege, & Xhaler. I basically want the most reliable one, with the ability to add adapters to try different atomizers (although I don't fully understand which comes with what), and good flavor, vapor, and throat hit. Oh, and good battery life too (I'm not asking for much, right????). The throat hit I'm getting with my 510 isn't really doing it for me and I've tried high nic stuff. I know everyone has their favorite, but what would be a good recommendation for a first time mod buyer?

I don't know of an attomizer that has better throat hit than a 510. The issue is just battery and juice. I have a Chuck. I can run it on a huge 3000mAh battery for a day or two at 3.7v or I can run it almost all day on two RCR123 900mAh batteries at 6v. You get a lot more TH and vapor for a lot longer with the big 3.7v and the 6v is just crazy. All the mods will do a good job, just check what types of batteries they will support. I am not aware of a mod that uses bigger batteries than the Chuck and the size of the battery is really all that matters (not counting your personal preference regarding appearance...).

Just get one you like, order some batteries from BatteryJunction and don't look back. It will make a huge difference in your 510 performance.

I was curious about the BB from Altsmoke, but they're sold out! Next I'm thinking either the Screwdriver or Little Chuck. I like the fact that the Screwdriver comes with batteries and a charger. I also don't want anything too heavy, but I will probably just use it at home, so maybe that doesn't matter. Is vaping at 5 or 6 volts really that awesome? And is 5 volts the "sweet spot" and does 6 volts have a burning taste?

That one looks awesome too! It says on their site:

Very cool bright light gives colored illusion at night

Is that on even when you turn the battery around?
