Best atomizer to try flavors?

So, at present, I am using a protank 2 mini and vision spinner. I am looking for a very simple way to try flavors. I have found that the majority of flavors I try are not to my liking. Most of them are not something I want to vape past the first few hits. Steeping sometimes makes a difference, but that still does not help when you have already contaminated a tank to try.

I want something that I can rinse out and swap flavors easily. If it needs to be a rebuild able that is fine. I can rebuild easily. I would ideally like something that does not have a wick to be saturated with favor. Rinse, drip, rinse, drip, and repeat. Does such a beast exist?

I don't know of any rda that doesn't use a wick (that's not experimental). I use the little Igo-L that you can get from RTD for about $10. single coil, very easy to build and swap out the cotton between flavors. I also have an Octopus, but for some reason I don't like the flavor I get out of that with the same build (ymmv). I run around a 1.5ohm coil using 29 gauge (or 30) kanthal. For very strong juice I wash it under hot water with a little dish soap (I never get any residual taste).

I'll second the Igo-L. :thumb:

Here is what I think you want - fast simple tasting tester - I keep about 5 on hand - be careful not to over power it (stay under 5 volts or 12 watts)

You can only add about 3 drops to avoid flooding and leaking. You do need to add a drip tip to it. You can carefully dry burn it to clear it for the next flavor (I do NOT rinse and then fire right away - if I do (rarely if ever) rinse it out I let it dry completely before using again)

I will throw in a vote for the IGO-L. I know there are cooler things out there, more expensive things... I know the kayfun's and russian 91% are probably the best vape you can get in a RBA depending on your budget and knowledge, BUT for the money (I got mine for $8.00) the IGO-L is amazing.
I am vaping on it right now, and I HAVE A russian 91%. It is simple, sturdy, easy to clean and re-wick/re-coil. If you you get a good coil wrapped on it... then all you have to do is thread some cotton, and vape. Want a new flaor? open, pull cotton, rinse, dry burn quick, thread new cotton and vape.
I am using silica wick right now, and earlier I wanted to try out a new flavor that came in vape mail... I thought to myself.. self? this would be easier if I ha cotton in here right now... then I thought, oh man, it took me all of 4 minutes to set this one up, I will just re-wrap another length of silica real quick. 3 minutes later I was vaping the new flavor (Gorilla Juice from avejuice-awesome btw) then I went and did it again to try out pandora from Mister-E-Liquid (really good). After that I couldn't stand not vaping my Boba's Bounty, so I re did it again and was vaping my fave right away. BTW, I didn't like the cotton I bought from walmart, so I ordered some sterile cotton, just waiting for it to come in.
Igo-L is so damn easy and a JOY to use. I am ordering a couple more just for the heck of it... along with the igo-w for dual coil builds. Love them and recomend them even though I have "better" rba's. No muss no fuss, just simple pure vaping.

Came across this $5 atty on youtube. Sold by High Desert Vapes, the demo on youtube was impressive with long life.

High Desert Vapes 510 ATOMIZER (BRIDGELESS)

I'll order one and see what the fuss is all about. I have several new flavors coming in and don't want to test early mixing percentages with my boge cartos.

I was in Albuquerque a couple of weeks ago stop in HDV shop nice place, bought two of these and they are fantastic. Great place.

READ THE OP'S POST PEOPLE!!!

Igo-W or Kayfun on an EGO SPINNER? Seriously!!

Dakota Jim hit the nail on the head. The OP needs a 510 atomizer, not some RDA that his battery cannot fit or power properly.

Kayfun on an ego.....

Saw what you did there

    You can use any atomizer!
With RDA's think about the wick, not which RDA. You want a wick that doesn't retain a lot of juice, and cleans easily if all you want to do is test multiple flavors. (different build than your ADV)

Personally I favor testing flavors in the topper I intend to use them in, anything else is invalid.

So I got an IGO-L and it works fine. I don't really like it much though. My main gripe is that the coil sets so close to the side of the bowl (is that the right term? who knows..) I would like to find something that has the coil right under the drip tip so I can just pop the tip off and drip straight on the coil easily. I would also prefer it to be a tad smaller than the IGO. That big thing atop my spinner looks like a mini Thor's hammer!

Ideally it would have a coil position similar to the Kayfun. And screws that can be worked without a screwdriver would be nice. Not huge issues, but that would fit my bill better.

I use this thing to test my juice and see when it is ready to go into full rotation. Like steep time and if it is good enough to fill my tank or not. Most of the juice I have is not tank worthy. I like them enough to take a hit or two in the evening but not enough to vape an entire tank. That is my goal anyway.

Thank you. I really like the look of the Kayfun and will most likely build up to something like that pretty soon. But you are totally right. Nowhere near suitable for my current needs.....
