Well, I am a proud new owner of a chuck. First mod and first atomizer user and am wondering where my flavor went?!8-o I drop a few drops in hit it and get one good flavorful hit and thats it. I still get hits after that but they have no flavor. Is that normal? what attys do you recommend for best flavor? Im vaping at 3.6 and/or 7.2 (with hv atty) the hv atty seems to retain flavor better so I know I need to find out which attys I need to use! Thanks everyone!

I get better flavor with a 901 then an 801 and then a 510 with throat hit being in reverse order...of course this is dependent on multiple variables.

For example: Some juice and certain atty combinations are great but not with certain voltage applications. This is also true of the reverse and various combinations thereof.

Other variables that make a difference is what I am drinking if I am, and or what activities I'm involved with at the time....It's a complicated combinations of mathematics, psychology, electronics and thermodynamics.

Right now I am using a 901 at 3.7volts with Atomic cinnafireball or whatever its called now... Tonight will be Butterfinger at 6 through my 510..or cartomizers.

yes... cartomizer defy all the rules... those are awesome.

EDIT: Add commas and punctuations at your discretion.

Just for *stuff* and giggles, I'm vaping (3.7 V) on an 801 and a 510 side by side with the very same liquid -- DeKang Lucky Strike.

On the 510, I get strong TH, a nice tobacco taste on the exhale and a hint of nut flavor. On the 801 (M201), I get reduced but still good TH, no tobacco taste at all and an unmistakable, nearly over-powering nutty taste.

It seems that the hotter the atty coil gets, the faster the flavor wanes. With liquids that have multiple tastes within, some of those flavors inherently fade faster than others.

In short, I would swear that these were two different flavored liquids if I didn't drip them in myself. Bump both devices up to 6 volts and the flavors will undoubtedly change again.

*Ain't* vaping fun? LOL

I am in the planning stages of my chuck and would like to know which connector I should get. The only ecig I have now is a revolver elite (just doesn't cut the mustard for me) so I will have to buy carts and atomizers. I plan on getting the adapters also, but would like to use the chuck primarily without an adapter. I will mostly be using the unit at 6v.
Sorry for the thread-jack but I can't start new topics.

Best flavour for me is the 901 iatties at vaporkings.com. The 3 volt iatties have a lower resistance than standard 901's and the 6 and 7 volt iatties have a higher resistance than iatties. Resulting in no burning, more vapour and no loss in flavour at high voltage, even at an astounding 7.4 volts. I can actually enjoy 3.7 volts again too with an 18650 with the i3 atties.

Damn, this is complicated.:)
So far my fave is the 808 cartomisers. I have 901s and 510s and lots of juice from TV and TW. Wating for my Chuck to really experience those flavors.
Been lurking here for a while, soaking up all this info. I got roasted chicken today from TW along with a few others. Does anyone make mashed potatoes and Gravy? :p
