Best atty resistance for 5V?

I noticed a similar thread but for 3.7 so I thought I'd ask about 5. I usually use 2.4-2.7 ohm atomizers but they get the burnt taste in a few days max, which I can't afford. No cleaning method seems to help. Maybe I should go for 3.0? I'm gonna grab a few cartos too to see how long they will last me.

Also, I really want to try the dual coil cartos but I'm worried they'd blow really fast at 5 volts, would this happen?

When I was using 5v I used nothing but genuine Joye attys that measured right around 2.3 to 2.4 ohms and they were great for most flavors. I swore by the Bauway 2.5m then they changed something in them and they always tasted burnt no matter what I did.

Most dual coils work wonderfully at 5v! Each coil in a 1.6 ohm dually is actually 3.2 ohms, so it's basically like using two 3.2 ohm cartos at once.

I use the edmcc at 5V. Only problem is the carto gets hot.

I haven't had a 5v very long so I've been experimenting. SR attys work ok (except for the one I popped right off the bat...must have been an old one) but you have to constantly drip not to get a burnt taste. Tried some Smoketech dual coils cartos. Lots of vapor, decent taste, but they get pretty hot...to the point you have to wait till they cool off to touch them. My favorite so far has been the Boge 3.0 cartos....warm vape, strong flavor, lots of fog. I'd definitely recommend trying them out on your 5v.

Already got some smoketech dual coils and boge 2.7 cartos on the way, should be here in a few hours. Couldn't get any 3.0 cartos but 2.7 is close enough to test them out!

4ohm @ 6v = 9 watts (HR atty)
2.8ohm @ 5v = 9 watts (SR atty)
1.5ohm @ 3.7v = 9 watts (LR atty)

I too find the 3ohm Boge carto a nice vape @ 5v. (which is 8.3 watts)

Personally, I like a 2.5ohm HH.357 @ 5v (10w). Mine actually tests at 2.6ohm, so I'm getting around 9.6w @ the coil, but it's fantastic. I'm on a ProVari.

I use almost exclusivly the DC from madvapes, I think they are smoktech. They get a bit hot on my 5v passthr but so what not like catch the couch on fire hot. Over 5v they just dont work, to much draw or they trip the batt. protection.
Hands down though the best carto I have found for 5v and up has been smoktech 3.2 ohm single cartos (also from Madvapes)
