Best batt for mini?

The UltraFire WF-138a seems to be what vendors sell to charge 3.0 volt batteries. Whether they be Li-ion or LiFePO4, I'm not 100% sure if it matters. The answer is somewhere on the CPF forums, I'm sure, but I gotta get to work. (another link)
Just a quick question, and sorry if it's been discussed before and I just didnt see it.

OMG...YES!!! I have and hate the BDLs!!! I've heard folks out the UF and TF as the worst...but I have to say that the BDLs are worse...for sure. I wrote off IMRs because the BDLs were my first experience with them! I thought everyone was smoking something silly telling me the IMRs were better. Okay...someone sent me a set of AWs and...well, the AW IMRs are better. I'll give them that.

I was expecting my AW IMR's a few days ago, but I assume they are, along with my REO GRAND, "missent" as per tracking...lol.

Now don't forget...with the IMRs...it takes 4-6 charging cycles for these to get up to their full potential...so if you're not excited right off the bat...that is why. The BDLs just never seemed to improve for me....and their output just seemed to be way less.
i think this video is quite informative (and kinda funny) but i wonder how the other black jacket aw's and Redilast compare to the IMR's.
That was a good comparison MisterD, I would like to add however that two other 18650 Batts that I use other than the AW are the Redilast and also the MNKE, both of these Batts put out 4.2v on my meter and are of a very high quality Batt that are as good as the AW's per my findings, just wanted to add them into the equation here

im sure it also depends on how old and how many charges the batts been through. cos my AW's give me a 4.06V fresh of charge on my varbox while some black/red 2.400 trustfires give me a mere 3.6V with a loaded 1.5ohms atty. one would also have to consider what kinda of a resistance the device gives you. people say wire's, all the connections, switch and a whole lot more is to be considered.

I have to add, in the 14500 size batteries, the brand and quality of the battery is 100 times more important than with the larger batteries. BDL 14500's suck.
I missed out on not replacing my 14500 batts sooner. I adore the AW 18650s...so hopefully the mailman is good to me this week.

Shame, since I am only last two atomizers, and have an order for those that should arrive any day now too.
